  • Lupin and Cho xD

  • in every parody HArry is like only thinking about hymslef.

  • could you share your ssr files like you did in avpm? i downloaded the videos from youtube and i don't wanna download them again from dvd version just for the subtitles but i need them. so please would you share?

  • @neferetina We've got the srt-files on our blog. Just go to our channel there's a link to the blog. You can convert those into any desired format by using aegisub. Just google it. Hope this helps.

    KeGlu@yuffi81

  • @yuffi81 The first time I looked I couldn't find them but now I looked again and saw them thank you :)

  • @neferetina you're welcome :-).

  • i love all of the kids says it all at the same time

  • LOL perhaps a ...frumpy little girl

    *stroking hermiones neck*

    Ron: NO no , erm...

  • you're smarter than......MERLIN!?

  • This is great! I understand everything much better... Must have been a lot of work to figure this all out!! And a plus for adding the references:) it's win-win ;p

  • @sancybella Thanks for your kind words. And your understanding of it beeing alot of work. I just can't even sum up the hours of effort we've put into this any more.

But it's a great thing, having these fantastic shows translated into so many languages. There are HP and StarKid fans everywhere in the world - who deserve to understand as much as possible of it.

So thanks alot to everyone who does subtiles. And to all the viewers, who keep us thrilled about it. So our work isn't wasted :-)

  • Lol its like Umbridge says shit but when Lupin says it everyones like *COVER EARS!!!*

  • @yuffi81 thank you for the subtitles! its helped a ton :)

  • you spelled bologna like baloney lol

  • @MaddieNae101 No, it's not misspelled. It's misunderstood ;-). What makes more sense with bologna? Is it a word used for Bullshit in the USA? (We aren't native speakers, sorry).

  • @yuffi81 lol no its a type of meat, but yeah he used it like bullshit like it can be used sometimes like if someone says somthing untrue, you can either say bull shit, or bologna (baloney) but i didnt learn to spell it until i was older haha :)

  • @MaddieNae101 Okay, thanks. It's always good to learn new things :-). And this is something they don't teach you in school. (As well for bullshit of course, but that's more common, so you get to learn that faster then bologna...).

  • @yuffi81 Haha yeah i know what you mean... so what is your native language? and im glad i could help :)

  • @MaddieNae101 our native language is german. Can't help it ;-).

  • @yuffi81 really? nice! im learning a little spanish haha if that has anything to do with this :)

  • @MaddieNae101 Yeah, I guess it has. 1. There are a few scentences in the play wich are spanish, 2. It always helps to know foreign languages as you see. It's the only way to get in contact with people from other countries properly. So good luck and keep it up! It's worth the work! I myself have no idea of spanish, but I'm trying to make sense of the words in the play and after a few mistakes some people offered me their help. That's cool :-).

  • @yuffi81 well your pretty good then, because i didnt know english wasnt your native tounge, until you told me. I was just thinkin, oh spelled bologna or boloney (however we should spell it ) wrong and thought id say something, even though i dont really know why :) How long did it take you to learn english? some people say its the 2nd or 3rd hardest language to learn... do you think thats true?

  • @MaddieNae101 Well, I can't tell, if it's really that hard to learn. I think it is harder to lern spanish or german for at least we have different articles like in german "der, die, das". That's simply "the" in english. Of course grammar is a hard piece of work in every language. We had english lessons from the 5th year in school up to the 13th. That makes 8 years and that's quite a long time I think. And here we just write down the words that are spoken by natives. So it's no big deal.

  • @yuffi81 wow it does sound confusing. i have only been taking spanish for a year now, i will actually be on my secound year once summer break is over, and i take it for 4 years, i could continue it, but i dont really want to once im in college. Here, at my school, we have elementry from pre-school (ages 3-4) to 6th grade (ages 10-12) and then we have jr. high for 7th and 8th grade which is like a middle school ages(11-13) and then we start high school for 4 years, and depending on how old you...

  • @MaddieNae101 and valekiller We have a sauce too that's called "Bolognese" It's used for any kind of Noodles here. And I love it ;-).

  • @yuffi81 I wanna try it :( haha

  • @MaddieNae101 haha im pretty sure it would actually be the same as our spagetti sauces :)

  • @MaddieNae101 Haven't you ever tryed lasagna? That should be with sauce "Bolognese" (german ;-)).

  • @yuffi81 lol yeah i have... yeah! Ive had bolognese!!! :D

  • @MaddieNae101 congratulations... ;-).

  • @yuffi81 haha why thankyou ;-)

  • were when you started high school, yo graduate when your 17- 18 :) and after that you can decide weather or not to go to college

  • @MaddieNae101 Of course it depends on you if you want to go on with learning languages or if your personal strengths are something different. Not everyone has the same talents, wich is good. So everyone can find his own personal place where he can fit in perfectly. That's a good thing, isn't it?

  • @yuffi81 yeah i believe so :)

  • @MaddieNae101 Bologna is a city in North Est of Italy. You foreigners call "ragù" Bologna 'cause it's where it come from. Funny, isn't it? :)

  • @valekiller haha reallly? here ragu is a name brand spagetti/ pizza sauce...wow I didnt know that... i guess im learning stuff today too :)

  • "Any happy little thought ? " I loved it :D !!

  • @xcamilloux Me too for I realized the referene at once though I only know the german version of Walt Disneys Peter Pan. But it was sooooo obviously :-).

  • i speak english as a first language and im watching this one. some of the things they say in the actual one are too quiet for my computers speakers, or even earphones.

  • @MrNathanBaxter i agree. so for me, the subtitles really help.

  • "This is bullshit".I love Snape lol

Ron's face after Harry said "..I don't want one" is so freaking perfect.

  • "This is bullshit".I love Snape lol

  • 1:15 the {???} is "{Got rid} of the feast" but thank you for the subtitles I like them!

  • lupin got fired! lupin got fired! god i love snape :D

  • @HLandEM whaat!? You don'tlike lupin??

  • @swedishmikafan no i totally love lupin but snape is just epic :D

  • @HLandEM yeah, okay ;) I think they're both epic :P

  • no, it's cool... i just felt like being a D lol

  • 4:37 the subtitles spelled 'off' the with way. That just ruined my day.

  • @Wilhatway Sorry for that. We aren't native speakers, so please don't feel too bad about that. If this is the first typo you found, we ourselfs are more then satisfied with the result. We will correct it in the DVD.

  • @yuffi81 I know. I was kidding. I need to learn that joking isn't as easy when people only hear the words, not the emotion as well. It's actually really nice that there are subtitles, because some word in the songs I couldn't understand at all. Good job.

  • @yuffi81 ourselves* than*

    good luck.

  • @freeski300 thank you. Never really got a clue when to use wich of it. Hope it's not too annoying :-(.

  • @yuffi81 You are not native speakers?! The result is great! So thanks, thanks so much for these subtitles. You're helping other non-native speakers to understand and to make their own subtitles to their language.

  • @lobovoando That's exactly what we did it for! We also added subtitles in our native language, wich is german. And for the english subtitles we had help from a native speaker, who sent us some corrections. But nobody can find all typos ;-). Hope you enjoy the show and perhaps a very Potter musical as well.

  • @yuffi81 but....why would we need english subtitles...when we're english..?

  • @hannybubbles because not everyone in the world is an english native speaker. Like me for example. And some people are deaf, but still enjoy the jokes in the show. And some other people have problems to understand the dialogues because of the audience and stuff. That's why we made the subtitles. It's great for you, if you can understand every word without help, but some others in the world are glad about it ;-).

  • @yuffi81 I'm french and without your subtitles i could never understand avps( and i'm not the only one!)! So thank you so much!!!!!!

  • @33770amelie you're welcome :-). But we did the subtitles for AVPM too, and we're on to subtitle MAMD and Starship as well. So if you like to, check out the other shows on our channel. And have a nice sunday.

  • @yuffi81 i'm not native speaker too... I watched the original ones without subtitles for a few times, trying to find the dialogue in google, but unfortunately most of it are incomplete. Then, I also forgot how, I accidentally found this subtitles, it helps a lot to fully understand the show... and the jokes... Just to let you know, I appreciate your effort very much ( and now I'm using this show to improve my english... ==')

  • @thoreric86 wow... I hope the subtitles are really good enough to learn from them... But I'm not sure. Thank you very much :-). If you just want to understand some more shows from team starkid: The subtitles are on our channel. And also a link to our blog where you can find links to a few other subtitle-languages we found on you-tube. Perhaps you can find something closer to your native language there. But of course learning english is one of the best reasons to stand by us ;-).

    ~KeGlu@yuffi81

  • Cho is Asian she came from Asia, not Texas, and she got black hair, not red hair

  • @ArielPotter1810 Yes, that's a joke. To understand it you should also watch A Very Potter Musical (if you haven't done so already). And by the way: Don't you think that it's more odd that Umbridge is played by a man ;-)?

  • @yuffi81 :i already watch it, it so funny, but i just....she not look like Cho chang, she not sound like Cho....um....nevermind

Gee, is that guy who play Umbrige is Voldermort in HP the Musical?

  • @ArielPotter1810 Yes, he is :-)

  • "i'm going to think of teh man who considered me to be his best friend."

    'Hagrid that's a good one."

  • 1:18 got rid o' the feast
