Then you don't know what you should be looking for. Did you expect him to just dance around and wave his hands like a mantis in the air, or did you expect him to actually grab someone?
It's definitely throw-heavy, but I think that might be because its a commercial. Throws are visually appealing and you can do a lot of them at a good speed without looking like you're choreographing them.
praying mantis is a style of kung fu. kung fu is based on animals and nature. Mantis usaully uses fast hand strikes and wrist lock with sweeps, from what i can see at least, i am not an expert.
is the school really for praying mantis? cause the calligraphy art in the background says Hapkido

Yes, praying mantis is very powerfull with throws and locks along with low kicks the same time! Really nice style
