In my experience it is astoundingly effective when dealing with police many of whom are very much in favour of Law enforcement rather than revenue collecting through statute enforcement. I have personally had big smiles and an enthusiastic handshake from police after discussing these issues with them.

Yes, I understand the point, but you have to have a birth certificate, how else are you going to prove your age when getting a driver's license, etc.? And if you never earn a cent or spend a cent, you won't be taxed. I don't own real property, so I don't pay property taxes.

I am almost entirely certain that this is all a combination of complete untruths and partial truths reworded to sound worse than they are. You pay parking fines and go to prison for the things that YOU do, There isn't a second you doing those things you're doing them! But the great thing is that I'm ok because I entirely don't care either way. sat and watched the entire thing and had a bit of a read around the subject just to be sure that I didn't care, and I don't! Everything is basically fine!

@kritsnu31 let's look at it like this, when I was younger back in my beer drinking days, I was drunk and had passed out in the front seat of my car at a dance. A policeman came to my window, shined his light in my face and told me to get out of the car. I said, "No sir, I don't have to do that, I am not in public" Needless to say, I didn't get arrested for public intoxication. He was mad as hell because I didn't "agree" to his verbal contract. I sobered up and drove home. FUCK THE GOVERNMENT!!!!

@CtrlAltDltYou Frequently, however courts often cover themselves by dismissing it as silly and not worth their time rather than admitting they've simply failed to gain control. In my experience it is astoundingly effective when dealing with police many of whom are very much in favour of Law enforcement rather than revenue collecting through statute enforcement. I have personally had big smiles and an enthusiastic handshake from police after discussing these issues with them.
