Magnetoboy, Harris then picked up from Rae, slashed social programs and environmental programs, killed a bunch of people in Walkerton, and ended up with a much bigger deficit (during a global economic boom), than the NDP was forced to have during a recesson. Where in that video are the cracks against the conservatives? The whole song was mocking the liberals! Obviously, some right leaning Canadians are so paranoid that they see any attempt at political humor as an attack against conservatives, as if you're all SO fucking persecuted. Give me a break. The liberals don't have some secret agenda and the conservatives are NOT being treated unfairly by the media. This is Canada. There isn't a huge difference in our two major parties anyway.

@Anghellik9 Its hard to compare because the conservatives are the leading party, and have been for most of the time Rick has had his show. So i think that obviously the people making decisions get it more. Also, considering the conservatives are always trying to cut the CBC budget, self-preservation means that the CBC will always be skewed slightly to the left.

Harper just gave the oil companies a 5billion dollar tax reduction. Where do you think he's gonna get the 5billion back from, my guess would be from subtly upping the taxes paid by citizens. Jack Layton wants to keep the tax money we'd get from the oil companies and spend it helping our economy.

Harper, leader of our government, the very organization in charge of making sure that the law is respected, will go against a law he created himself which forbids him to launch an election at this moment. If we can't trust him with the responsibility of respecting a rule he made, we certainly can't trust him with the power of a majority. Dion is a brilliant guy, but not a people person, Bob Rae should be at the head of the Liberals, and then, Canada could have a true leader.
