Nice to ride along with you for a while at your new job. Take care of that Iveco and wish every night that it has transformed in to a Scania the next morning ;)
lindo camion RT. Why does spanish trucks have two registation plates at the back of the vehicle? did it not be enough with one plate one and back? cheers becky
@becky334 The white plate indicates the tractor, and the red plate identifies the trailer. Common thing in Europe, some countries have the tractor plate in the back as well, the coloured plate being the trailer.
really nice vehicle, i can see you change trucks pretty often - lucky guy... ;) btw, isn't it allowed to put a running laptop on the middle shelf? greetings from poland ;)
@Mickygemma Naw, it was just giving me false warnings, some burnt out light that dosn't exist, and the absence of the cab heater which was taken out to be serviced.
i can relate to a comment made on one previous post. yes we can be a lot slower what with the liquid going one way when you might be needing to go the other way.
and some four wheelers needing to stop or fail to indicate their intention.....the liquid wants to keep on going..........just some of the little things tanker guys got to deal with on top of all the other stuff........................great video RT
@aswchris Well, the thing with tankers is that when you are loaded, you are usually maxed out on the weight, so uphill is always a struggle. It is easy to be all loaded up on a reefer or tilt and have half the weight allowed. On my five axle combo I usually max out at 40,000kgs, wile I have been loaded up in a reefer and be 20,000kgs...
Hello Roger, how`s the Iveco? Is it better or worse than the "all-auto" MAN? I never got to drive one, i`m currently driving the MB Actros 1844, and i like it a lot. As for the videos you post, they are very good!
So how long have you been on the tankers roger?? Great video trucker brother. Keep on truckin, Hows the iveco treatin ya brother?? I've heard they are a pain in the ass and very horrible or is it just a truckers myth!
@jonnytruckfest Been with tankers for one week and a half, and I prefer it to reefers of tilts. A lot less hassle! They can be delicate to drive on uneven roads, but you get used to that. It becomes a second nature quickly.

Is it me or are tankers often the slowest trucks on the road?
