I was always and am still a Metal fan, but somehow i gradually and almost unnoticeably became also also a Goth rock fan. A pretty obvious starting point - Sisters Of Mercy. Then The Mission, Play Dead, March Violets, The Cult, The Cure, Fields ... i guess it's something in the dark, theatrical expression of shattered hopes and cynicism. Or maybe it's the cool, restrained vocals and punkish rhythms that do it for me. btw i'm long past my teenage years. :)

I can promise you that all of the lyrics are quite meaningful. Just watch the few and rare interviews with Mr. McCoy and you will see. Theres been published only a few lyrics in they're albums, many people has been deciphering them as best they can from what they hear. Many are quite correct written and understood too I believe, but its hard to know for sure due to the vocals and such if u understand. But the more you listen the more you want to know.
