@saltpepper27: I have had a change of heart and really put my foot in my mouth. I wish I could delete that statement. Everyone needs help and guidance.
@KdawgPhoto um maybe he just wanted to help out some of the less professional photographers who just need a tiny bit of guidance... and did you seriously just compare taking a photo to open heart surgery?
I dont know why so many of you give this a thumbs up. He doesn't even show you BEFORE/AFTER shots. How are you, as a newbie, supposed to understand or see the effects of the reflector if you don't even see a photo of how an object/person looks without it, and with it. I'm being objective here. Quit going gaga over this video. Look into Bryan Peterson he at least knows how to illustrate his tutorials properly - having the average, newbie photographer in mind when doing so.
When you use a flash for fill light it will usually add unwanted orange from the AWB if thats what you are using. Fill flash was definitely not used here.
@mzahra1 I know it's an old comment, but ugh, only get a reflector stand if you need to in my opinion. I'd rather have even a slightly educated assistant instead of having to run back and forth to make small adjustments to a stand etc.
Hey, i made a video showing how to make an alternative reflector :D for about under 4 dollars

Anyone have any idea if he's using fill flash at all or if hes just using all natural lighting? Thanks.
dementedfish1 2 years ago
Definitely natural light. No flash was used there at all. You can almost always tell when flash is used.. even when used correctly.
