@mcmanus1806 well you can go dubway, lowering, rims etc but if you want power its not worth it. an exhaust an a remap will get you a nice sound and maybe some better driveabillty at an unreasonable cost. dont bother with any big mods. start off with a 1.8T or 2.0T. if insurance restricts you then be happy with what you got and buy a spare engine and build it over time, would be worth it in the long run. otherwise a golf 1.8T can be picked up for less than £2K and with a map can be good fun

it's a custom made by Versatile Auto

it's the only VW Golf with a real carbon fiber top (no steel under) in the world (to my knowledge )
