  • The 3 dislikes come from George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, and James Cameron, Eric... pure jealousy! Well done, man. This is a jewel.

  • its got a Mad Max feel about it! Love it...

  • This is just incredible! The best I have seen! Well done mate! :)

  • @BlitzRageSecondlife

Thanks! Make sure you stay tuned for the next project i'm working on! Its hopefully going to be a blast. But allot of work! :P

  • awesome ! cool & beatiful movie

  • That. Is. AWESOME!

  • WOW

  • good job!

  • Awesome video, I was really drawn into it. Man I realise I have to learn so much yet, I just move my camera to much, and etc..... I can only say amazing.

Greetings Rob1972 Burt (inworld) Plain Rob (rl)

  • Wow, increible, me ha gustado mucho, muy profesional, buena musica, y de inicio a fin capturas la atención de quien ve esta produccion.

    It's great!!

  • gj with it i see why that won that very gj with gave it a big like vote gj ag

  • This is groundbreaking. Awestruck congratulations, Eric. We should stop talking about whether this was shot in SL or not and ask you to give a talk in SL about how you made this amazing vid. Your idea of making a video explaining the techniques is a good one.

  • @BaySweetwater

I'm definitely going to make a video sooner or later about how i do most of my tricks in Second life. But right now i'm in the process of moving, so i'm a little swamped!

  • That's all kinds of excellent, well done.

  • An amazing work of art, one which will inspire many, im still searching SL for those wonderful machines... a search that has already led to new possibilities. ..

  • Really entertaining video (machinima is video) with a story, arc and characters. Excellent! And my didgeridoo snuck in there too! :D Well-deserved winner.

  • Congratulations on your win, it was well deserved. I would have been annoyed if you hadn't...:))

  • are you sure this isnt SL cause I didnt see any neko's or n00bs holding whine glasses and bling scripted giant shades.

    jk, lolz

  • omg man this deserves so many more views! subbed ad faved

  • Love the video and I am sure an inspiration for other machinima makers to up their game!! Well done.

  • After reading that "This entire machinima was shot in Secondlife" a few times here and there I guess it will be quite rude to ask "are you absolutely sure that it was made in SL??", so I will not ask..

I will just say that my SL doesn't look like yours and my avatar doesn't move like yours, etc.

    Amazing editing technique :) congrats!

  • @WhiteLebed

Maybe i should upload a little video showing the animations/locations and avatars i used for juroney. Probably should make it more easier to recognize :P

  • @WhiteLebed If your avai does not move like that, perhaps you need to upgrade your AO. I am very familiar w/that hands in the pocket animation; I used it to create a male AO and I can attest to the fact that it is very much SL. The appearance of smoother movement is the result of very careful editing , short "bursts" and slowing down the frames. Superb job. (and congrats on the well deserved win)

  • Amazing machinima, I just keep watching this over and over!

    Definitely gets my vote!

  • Absolutely awesome ride!

Wondering how much it would be for a delivery to 945 Battery St., San Francisco?

  • I liked your movie. good shots, a funny story and an entertaining narrative. Very well done

  • Yeah, Jay, its indeed amazing. Wish I could get a hold on that animations, lol. I am definately jealous! :-)

  • Juroney is certainly amazing !

  • You should consider it an honor that some people thought it was NOT filmed in Second Life. A lot of SL machinima are marked as SL, but with the professional use you made of complex animations and professional editing, you worked around that so well. I would love to know how your avatar seized that sign post. Did you have special animations made for you? Stunned and amazed....

  • @textcavation

The sign was actually edited in in Vegas. until it grabbed it. But while i do find it a compliment that people think that this isnt in SL. I dont want it to lower my chances of winning because if the judges start believing its not in SL, i might not really get any good ratings about it since its an SL contest. So i'd rather have people know for sure that its all in SL. :P even tho it is nice to know i made it look unlike it.

  • @TheWapower Gotcha. :) I meant no disrespect for Second Life machinima, which is an excellent source for filming, especially if you are resourceful. And ALL platforms have their earmarks--especially the gaming machinima. It's taken me three years to know how to manipulate SL enough to film in it. (I believe we've submitted to the same contest.) :) I'm thinking of the prejudicial stance that Genero.tv has taken against SL music videos, and how annoyed it made me.

  • @TheWapower Post Script: GOOD LUCK!!

  • Just a typical trip to UWA then?

  • @TinBryn A Journey to deliver a package to the UWA sim. sort of, a trip yeah :P

  • wow that was cool

  • Ouahh great work ! maybe i met you in some wasteland ? ,)

  • @TutsyNavarathna

Probably!, i used to live there for about 2 years in the Junkyard, fissure, and malady bogg

  • wtf?

  • Fantastic! Enjoyed that a lot. I had to smile when I saw the McGuffin at the end - cool idea of a self-thematizing story.

  • Stunning camerawork, editing, sound effects and music. What kind of graphics card do you have to get those visuals, if I may ask?

  • @J0E90

ATI 5970. But i wouldnt recommend it. Most support for ATI cards isnt fantastic :(

  • Good work here :)

  • Excellent !

  • nice

  • WoW.. Good Luck on the Machinima Contest.

  • embedding this straightaway on my site under "best of machinima" ;-)

  • Fantastic once again Eric!

  • I'd leave a more coherent comment but I'm too busy picking my jaw up off of the floor. This rocks!

  • Finally, someone has brought the respect of Machinima back to SecondLife. It's been a long time since a Secondlife video was worth a gamers attention span. If you play Secondlife, it should be a default to subscribe to this man.

  • Thanks for the awesome Comments everyone!

  • very cool production, beautiful shots and audio, great vehicles, best of luck :D

  • excellent use of anims - puppets and obj. love the MadMax vehicles. great sounddesign. guess the title is misstyped for google search reasons .-))

    overall a 5star SL production.

    congrates upfront !!

  • Waww !! Very nice camera, excellent rythm, especially at the beginning ; well, all is excellent !

I am also impressed by what you managed to do with animations in SL.

    Top of the top.

  • Fantastic work! Story, environment, everything. It really shows what can be done in SL.

    Suzy Yue

  • haha very nice at the 7 minute mark :)

  • Fantastic! Lots of hours of work there...Best of luck to you, Eric Bocarra !

  • Very atmospheric - the music is really well chosen. And the future-chaos machinery is cool as f*ck.

  • and the winner is ...
