@dkkght46 consistency in morals and the ability to make decisions in a pragmatic manner, in my opinion outweighs the said campaign pledge. Perhaps at that time in the world those campaign pledges were the right option and feasible, however, times are always changing, if the policies don't change with the times I believe that would be a true failure to us the people.

Let's do some more research and try to look at things outside of our immediate circumstances and at the future for our children.
