  • lol my nigga if u really wanted to make it wack u would of used a snap instead of clap

  • ok u dont like south type beats yet u have all this pre-programmed in ur mpc sounds like a hypocrite to me and another thing u said be "original" well sampling isnt being "original" its taking an already made song and rearranging it to fit a beat how un "original" is that, if u dont like south beats which by the way this wasnt then dont program ur drums to sound like them im not hatin juss statin facts from ur video that dont make sense

  • @rumble360

dumbass i don't listen to that bullshit. the whole point of the video was making fun of garbage ass music. i knew southern rap fans were stupid, but not this fukin stupid. damn. it's called satire u stupid ass bitch.

  • always use a cowbell! haha :D

  • this is one of my favorite videos. dude is telling the truth! he knows the "wack formula" and whats funny is, you can watch vids like this where the producer is serious, droppin these type of beats and the layman is biggin him up! And if you try to drop a gem of knowledge, they will put the "hater" beam on ya and say "you can't do what he does" then you laugh xD

  • Cowbells are cool, you just gotta know when to use em

  • cowbell is wack but the clap is cool. it can be used tastefully. OUTKAST

  • fuck claps.. i rarely use 'em at all

  • I Heard somebody on d raido with this beat the other day lol

  • still funny!!

  • lmao

  • cowbell part had me rollin!

  • lol it would deadass b a hit on the radio wit dumbass lyrics like my dougie

  • Haha man this is a perfect example of a wack beat lol I hope A Lot producers see this..so They won't do this Thanks RUDOLPH KAZE.

  • *Drake Arm*

  • KILLIN it with the cowbell and the hats and claps-- can I get on this???

    /sarcasm

(great video of true definition of wack, maybe wacka flacka could make it wackaaa)

  • funny!!!!!

  • Haha sick dude.

Dissin that gay ass radio sound everyone is hung up on.

People need to realize there are advantages to being underground - like the freedom to experiment.

  • I have to agree. You can forget about a rap career if you dont have that cow bell.

  • yes sir i'm gonna take this give it to a teenage souljah boy and he make it into a hit

  • If you examine music history & production further you will see that some genres of music & artists benefit from using weak sounds & claps

light beats may help give weak vocals some space.& handclaps give a song a party vibe.

eg bossa nova has very light beats

Imagine george clintons atomic dog or chic good times with snares instead of handclaps.

A snare would not have the same energy. .

weak beats are not wack beats but can easily be misinterpreteted with poppy unoriginal music..

  • @tygaelement well duhh. eric b & rakim's "i aint no joke" used the 808 kik and clap. hip hop came from the 808s but i am sick of hearing it in every song with teh same cheesy triton synths. if t's azz, it's azz. i don't even care if you're using snares. garbage is garbage.

  • what was the duhh comment about... ,you missed my points ? can you imagine miami bass or freestyle without a roland 808? or house music without a 909.... & if were gonna get old school

Hip hop evolved from live cover bands to dmx ,linnndrum ,drumulator & roland drum machines & common synths -sampling

Raw dope posse listen to my turbo has a similar hi hat pattern to your wack beat..& mantronix was regarded as a genius for programming similar classic beats,

  • @tygaelement trust me bro, the shit mantronix was doing is far better than wut BET pushes at the moment.nothing is wrong with the 808 but on every song with the SAME pattern? if primo used "synthetic substituion" on every song from an entire album he produced with the same pattern, would that be hot too? bottom line, the shit out today is trash. and if you're arguing the fact that parliament didnt use snares on a few songs as an excuse that it doesn't, then that's hilarious.

  • Im not arguing or defending the lazy industry but

your being selective & biased & missing all my points.

Dj premier is also guilty of overusing the same drum patterns & predictable scratching & song structure since the mid 90s .

Kraftwerk numbers is a common overused drum pattern ( planet rock)

& look at reggeaton / dancehall drum patterns or a salsa bassline

The unoriginal samey rhythms & instruments can also be the essence or define the genre / group & its easy to misinterpret.

  • @RUDOLPHLYRICS i think the poitn is to make some shit thats original and sound good. mantronix and all the electro shit, well in that time that shit had never been done before. It was original. so i think that says alot. how many years ago was that? lol the same ass 808 beats dudes is makin now is 2 played out. and that aint hip hop. or atleast it wasnt. niggas need to youse there brains again and start makin some shit thats original man. progress intro new things in music u feel me?

  • lmao always use a cowbell

  • haha nice job poking fun at todays music industry

  • "And I know what wack sounds like... livin in the south." lmao.

  • HAHAHA

  • this is a joke right?

    i mean..

god i hope it is cause otherwise ill look like a dick lol.

from what i see its a joke so forgive me if it is not

  • To say the whole is Wack, is not true and can be view as a Hater mentallity! There are some good rappers with tight flows in the south. Just like there as always been some good rappers and wack rappers from up north and the west coast. I just say, do you, make good music and find your fan base, that will appreciate it, set up your own venues, and make dat money.

  • I can't say I totally agree or disagree with you. What I can say is Radio have always been political and about that dollar! Its not as you say "WACK BEATS" is why they play, it has nothing to do with what it sounds like, and This is nothing new, its always been like that even in the RUN DMC days, GUY, Levert etc. They just had more to choose from.

  • this shit is hot.

  • Haha, this was wack as shit. Great job lol

  • LOL! that's it.. then u just need throw in some simple rhymes.. like..

    damn im so hot,

    i would neva stop,

    that ballon is gonna pop,

    damn i needa mop

    etc....

  • gotta add some horns to complete it

  • don't get me started on these garbage azz triton horns damn near every producer in the south wants to use. 3 notes of cheesy horns with a simple drum track. pure wackness

  • you make the sickest gay beats

  • dont use a snare use a clap, lol

  • Ha ha ah Wackness sonn. Props. And whoever said FL studios wack is funny cause I use it to sample with edison and FL slicer, Fuck synths we dig for records.

  • hahahahahaha ALWAYS USE A COWBELL HAHAHAHA

  • That was well funny mate .

  • that fruity loop beat making lol

  • 9th Wonder uses fruity loops so u calling him whack after he produced jayz a album on fl studio

  • i don't think using FL is wack. doesn't matter what u use really. even if u use pots and pans with a 4 track tape recorder. as long as it sounds better than the shit those nazis are putting on the radio now i'm cool with it.

  • i know u dont think its whack its just that BennyLascoMusic made i really but point and i replyed to tht point with tht remark

  • @TheRunningScout 9th used to make beats with fl, but that's long before he made beats for jay tho. not dissing fl, its cool :)

  • @TheRunningScout yea he uses it but he most probablly gets his beats mixed and mastered in pro tools..... just proves how ameture it is if ppl can create a beat by clicking a mouse

  • lmao man

  • mad props! Dude!!!

  • haha sad but true shit its like art so many artist all that work and someone comes in an splashs paint on a canvas and sells them for millions

  • ahhhhh!good analogy!

  • i wonder why you upload this shit? xD

  • That shit just should commercial

  • moar cowbell!

  • This is so true my dude i'm from N.Y and I agree this south so -called music is so WACK ! Stay true don't GET ON THEIR LEVEL..

  • Lmao! Sounds like a Collipark beat, man.

  • i can't even think on that level.lol!

  • dayymmm that shit was original mayn havent heard that drum pattern bfore. ahhah

  • Whitney Houston is going to sue your arse off the planet :p

  • hahahahaha

  • always use a cowbell....

  • this is such a sick beat, i'll give you $999,999,999.00

to let me rip this up, i already got a hook.

    [chorus]

"Yall ain't shit, suck my dick

  • lol. like deja vu just with ears

  • lol funny, fuck i hate hand claps!

  • hahaha funny :)))

  • "make ya booty drop...make ya booty drop....make ya booty clap..make ya booty clap....get nasty girl get nasty!"

i thinks that is what there saying now days.

  • that actually sounds like somethin i've heard before literally

    lol

  • im a southern nigga so im not feeling all the hate but there you cant judge shit based on the radio because just about everything they play on the radio is garbage from souljah boy to jim jones.

  • "O DAYUM SUN THATS FIAH RIGHT THUR CEN I USE IT?????????"

    Fuck rap music, hip-hop D4L!!!

  • lol its funny becuase it's true

  • ahahhaha

    we have a hit!!!!!!!

    shieeeeeet. ahahahhaha

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA WOOOOOO it goes perfect with it too

  • this beat hot nigga... damn

  • ok let me start by saying, I don't like the crap that's on the radio either, but to call it how to make a wack beat cause that's how we make beats down here in the south, is stupid we've been makin' our own style for years when you northerners was not accepting our form of hiphop. We took a form of hiphop which was very big down here Electronic Funk like "Planet Rock",PacJam,Egypt, and many others. Before you start calling something wack do some research and learn some history about another form

  • there's no need for research or history, wack = wack... sometimes truth hurts

  • It wouldn't be so dumb if if didn't all sound the same. That's why it has no art form

  • not a fan of down south music on the radio, but it isnt even really down south, if you wanna talk original southern hip hop, outkast, n such. miami bass influenced alot. people like three six mafia, back when they were triple six made the kind of sound used now, only it was alot better, and they had talent as producers. fuck what anybody thinks. now its cheap slopily made versions of that. but eastcoasts beats, seriously, the beat pattern is relatively the same aswell. its how music is.

  • chicken noodle soup

  • haha I been looking for this vid for a while, funny and straight up truth

  • it would sound funny if you had a guy repeatin bounce.

  • i don't think the drum track itself is garbage. if i had that beat, i'd slow it up a lil something i'd throw on some hard sounds on top. i think the beat itself was better then the bullshyt that be playing on the radio...

  • when you make a dirty south beat your not doing it to show off your musical genius but i give props to some of the southern producers like nitty who just know whats hot, feel me. they know their beats are simple dont hate on the south just cause a few internet producers got you trippin.

    peace.

  • lmao, thank you, i love this video, but once u added the cowbell it made the beat a little bit too high quality for the radio.

  • haha

  • LOL!

  • I mean ima be honest I hope I never hear anybody rap to this but I make alot of south type beats but they be quality time and effort but I can't really sample too good I just ain't got that ear

  • Haha..this is funny. But somebody HAD to do it..:D! And why do they use cowbells ( and especially synth-cowbells!!!)???? Maybe they DON'T know what wack is:D:D

  • Funny stuff lmao! Good example of how the radio spins that bull!!

  • lmao

  • im from the south. ts undeniable to recognize the wackness thats been coming from the south in the bast 5 years or so it has pinacled to alarming rates. these guys are literally throwing any old bullshit out there and they get love for it.

  • umm i don't think the south is wack i'm from cali and the west was on some 64 chevy, smackin hoes shit too. But the only dope crew i liked was geto boys

  • Word is Bond, this video is the truth, I knew

  • AMEN.

  • haha... funny vid.. same shit i try to explain to other peoples. lol @ "always use a cowbell"

  • Goodie mob started that term. Dirty south music is the third largest form of hip-hop. Skip all the new school shits. You cant hate on 3 6 mafia and outkast, goodie mob, mystical (only his first album tho) mjg and eightball david banner and the rest of the dope cats. I dont understand why people gotta put down dope creativity. The new school shits is for the club but thats for all "urban" music not just the south.

  • i was listenin to them in high school. 36 mafia when they had those cheap ads in the source. outkast and goodie mob before andre and ceelo started shoppin at thrift stores. mystikal before he signed to no limit and wore that same grambling jersey at all his performances(soul train, rolanda watts show). david banner/kamikaze(crooked lettaz), the whole suave house. yes, all the new shit is bad. east included but that crunk/snap shit is just horrible.

  • word.

  • I grew up in the south and there has only always been a handful of southern artist that deserve to be mentioned when we talk about southern hip hop outkast 8ball&mjg ugk goodie mob 36mafia playa fly dj screw devin the dude ludacris t.i. yung buck and maybe six others i cant currently think of i love the south but i was more influenced by early east coast cats nas rakim all the hip hop legends east to west south was cool before crunk and snap we need to dead that shit ASAP

  • word.

man i hope you accept my vid response man !!!!!

    trust me,

    its funny

  • "always use cowbell". lol

  • lol

  • NEVER USE A SNARE! USE A CLAP!

  • claps fucking suck fuck them farmer rappers

  • yes, i know of the beat. hi-tek used the same sample for phife in "beats rhymes and phife"..

  • rudolphlyrics, you my friend, are a genius.

  • BRAVO! BRAVO!

  • Haha, this was funny. I'm thinking of many different producers right now :-)

  • sooo.... this is what you call wack?

  • Funny as fuck! Ledge mate.

  • why is everybody so mad at the south for

    change ya style up

    switch to southpaw.

    haha fat joe

    dont hate the south!

    dj paul,outkast,mannie fresh?

    dont hate

  • c'mon now, Dr Dre's beats are wayyy better than Mannie not-Fresh.

thats why mannie spends like 20 minutes on a beat

and Dre spends tireless hours getting it to sound perfect.

  • Haha, Nice joe reference. Nobody's hating on the south, we're hating on that Dirty South style, with all the hats and the claps and the heavy bass. It's all sounding the same now a days.

  • yup, its hard to find a good emcee in the south nowadays

  • Sell that shit to soulja boy and you'll be a millionaire

  • you don't realize what you created, it is a masterpiece, it really dont sound like a southern beat sound like some cali shit, hyphy , e40 would of killed this wack shit, :)

it really sound like a track some cali nigga would do tho all jokes aside

  • hhaha. gimme a break dude. that shit is garbage.

  • SweetnessDaREEL just cuz it sound like somethin somebody(famous) would rap over dosent mean its good

  • Ay ay ay ay ay ay ay ay ay ay ay ay ay ay ay

    I RIDE LIKE A PIMP.

    EAT STEAK & SHRIMP

    24s shinin

    Walkin wit a LIMP

    you know who i'm iuh

    shawty keep triuh

    boy got choppa

DAT JUS DA WAY I LIUH

YOU NEED TO SIGN ME....I LIKE THAT BEAT

  • The cow bell = 80's

  • LOL@ "livin' down here in the South." I'm from the South too and I know what you mean.

  • HAHAAH... i done came through club, bottle topped up, hoes lookin lovely im tryna pick which one gone bop me up.... yuhhhhh i done came through the club, yuhhh i done.... DAVID BANNER BANNER AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH new cats from the south gabage... primitive ass rhymes and beats

  • damn yo dis beat is whack

  • hey....i love the 808 cowbell....

    :(

  • so damn true....and so damn sad

    stay informing these people bro!!

  • GIT SILLY!!!!

That's the exact same kinda beat as that horrible excuse for music.

FUCK Soulja Boy and everybody who likes him.

Bullshit motherfucker talking about how he's "hip-hop".

  • It's not like there wasn't wack rap music in the "Golden Era." The simple difference is the wack stuff was not as dominant as it is today. The beat you displayed was simple but not necessarily wack. What would make it wack is the rapper performing on the beat. Not to toot my own horn, but I'd take that "wack beat" and make lemonade with it. It's all about execution in my eyes but I do see your point, my dude. Folks have to put a little more thought into the music. That's all. Peace.

  • hahhaha. u are right, there was wack music in every era. there was wack shit in 88, wack shit in 94 but it was more like 85% hot shit and 15% wack when now it's 90% wack shit and 10% illness.. and NOBODY could make that wack azz shit i put together hot.. that beat is azz chunks.

  • DOOM would kill it.....lol

  • man niggaz probably got nothing but claps in the sample library. got a 2gb compact flash wit 10,000 radio friendly claps. BIG ROLLING IN HIS GRAVE.

  • hahahahaha. it seems like it.. but everyone is using nothing but the 808 clap.. i don't mind a couple beats using it cuz it's a classic sound. the 808 aint going anywhere, but when 99% of the songs on the radio are using the SAME 808 CLAP in every song, it becomes played out.

  • at no point do you use a snare use a clap.

im tired of them damn claps too, but im an 80's baby where in the 90's niggaz like quik, premo, dre, them niggaz made that big ass trombone shit. i love soulful shit, but man its about instrumentation, half these niggaz don't even no fucking music theory-melody-rhythm, none of that but if that record makes you dance it makes you dance! i can't hate. these clap niggaz gon get clapped out the game. chitown.

  • Yo man, you from Greenville?

    (Noticed the Backdoor Skateshop sticker)

  • yep. those my peeps that work at the shop.

  • Word, yea I go through there quite a bit, mainly to buy shoes lol.

Where you get your MPC from? I haven't been able to find a store in greenville with one, I'll probly just end up buying one online.

  • i bought it a music store online new many years ago..this was before the 4000, 500, or any of the other machines were even around.

  • Word. I wanna get me one, probably gonna be a while though before I get one.

What part of greenville you stay at, you go to ECU?

  • hahahaha

  • soulja boy would turn that beat into like quadruple platinum sadly.

  • "You gotta put in that cow bell"

  • hahaha i laughed hard at that damn clap, its used in every song.

  • lmao

  • haha never use a snare !

  • hahaha :D yea sooo true ...

the dirty south boom that made every commercial track sound alike completely ruined the 808 for me ...

  • yo fam u 4got the screwed up hook. or the dance! lol

  • LMAO itz funny how some of yall think itz hot...thatz how i feel tellin deez niggahz down south dat them beats iz wack and shit. J-dilla rest in beats.

  • i miss H.E.R.

  • LOL! Never use a snare??? Always use the cowbell ?? hahhaa.. funny man..

  • haha i still love this video

  • the realest shit i've seen in a minute

  • so true^^

  • dude i feel you...i know exactly what you mean

just throw in a hi hat,cow bell,808s,and a clap or snap

  • Beat reminds me of No Limit and/or Cash Money. Thanks for pinpointing the age at when Hip Hop came to its downfall. Funny as hell beat. SouljahGirl can say stupid shit on that track.

  • yes rap is watered down right know

  • that beat is dope as fuck B!

  • omg you read my mind with this! its what ive been saying about the state of hip hop for years! the whole "kick & a clap" thing. we gotta bring the snares back asap!

  • lol...your right most down south beatz dont have no snares drum, a bunch of cow bells a violin that plays only 2 strings a bunch hi hits a deep ass bass drum..but if you take your time wit it you can make up some hot shit...but yo thats the wackest beat i eva heard mane...sometimes when im tired of maken a hot beat i'll make wack 1 4 the hell of it..sum times that shit turn out dope..I guess...neva mind..fuck dat...a wack beat is a wack beat...PERIOOOD..

  • sick son of diddily

  • lol, you are funny at the same time tellin the truth. never use a snare, lol.

  • You are telling it how it is... Thankyou you are my hero..

  • 100% Correct FAM. THAT'S NO BS.
