Every time i listen to this song all i can think about is all the pain and suffering Sekai, Makoto, and Kotonoha went through all because of Sekai's "greeting" kiss and the "training sessions" she gave Makoto which made him love Sekai for lust (which caused him to lose himself and confuse love for lust) instead of Kotonoha for genuinely loving him. (although i also am a bit mad at Kotonoha for letting Makoto's friend pretty much rape her at the school festival)

In anime, there is a well-known genre known as the "harem" genre, where a character (usually male, but there have been female harem leads, too) who finds themselves increasingly surrounded with attractive members of the opposite sex. The School Days anime was supposed to be a deconstruction of that concept. Except in a normal harem series, where everything turns out to be fine and dandy, here everything goes to hell.

@NyuNyuCOF not rly. the entire series is comicle and upbeat, with no real tension building till the last 7 episode or so. the only real sad part of the show is the infamous shock ending they decided to go ahead and put in, because they realised that the show needed something to make it stand on its own. over all im on the side that says that while the ending was very well done, they kind of got lazy and decided to end it in the most unnecessary way possible. still thought it was a good show/end
