@EvilNando Just roll the analog stick around 360 degrees over and over while you are being attacked and it will activate every time. People wont admit it, but this is how you do it.

@LaNekra It's a question of preferrence really, play both and decide, then play the remake of the first on 360 or Ps3 and then decide again.

The second does have a crap ass ending though, and Suda51 doesn't plan on another NMH with Travis as the main character.

basically to do dark step you tilt the joystick when they are in the middle of the attack animation. For some reason it sometimes works better if you add a dodge to that.

Personally I could not time that if my life depended on it. It took me 850 hits.

Maybe all you need is to time the dodge without the joystick, but I am sure yuu can use the joystick alone to perform dark step while doing doing teh dodge without the joystick...

darkstepping is available the whole game, you just wiggle the joystick back to either side while blocking an attack (though it only works on string attacks)

yeah but you have to darkstep during assassin missions to be able to darkstep henry . I played it last night and thats what you have to do.

I think upon starting the fight it auto-equips the Tsubaki Mk-III, along with the game's default clothing set-up, since it's technically an optional battle and it also needs to match the image shown during the end credits. Only thing better then this would be to do a Perfect VS Henry video on Bitter without using the last Battery upgrade.

ive done almost that, but the damage i took wasnt from recharging, even on bitter, the upgrades arent so significant that it makes the battle easier, just shorter.

It's one of those perfect timing things. Right before getting hit by an attack, you hit left or right on the analog stick (not the d-pad).

this games actually pretty fucking easy as long as you hold down the z-button and do a lot of dark slides. the only times I get hit in this game are from gunshots.

Yes you do. You have to purchase ALL the beam Katanas first before fighting him. Once you have all of them, go to a bathroom and select "real ending". Note: You need to be Rank 1.

The real ending is the battle with Henry.

If you viewed the normal ending and saved over your file, your screwed and have to play through the whole game again, beat Rank 1, and then see thye real ending

In the middle of his combo, I used the D-Pad. When I darkstepped right before the final, unblockable blow, I used the analog stick.

@ShockleyHaynes I'm having a problem with the dark stepping. I can do it pretty easily, it's just that the problem is the screen doesn't turn darker and time doesn't slow down. This allows him to attack at the same rate and I'm not able to get the hits in that I want to as seen in this video. Is there a solution to this?
