You don't need to do all that. You can exfoliate your lips with a wash cloth, and moisturize with a lip balm.

That doesn't work nearly as well. Trust me. My lips get really dry and rough, and so I've tried a lot of things to exfoliate them. Wash clothes don't work well.

it should be, extra virgin just means the oil comes from the first picked olives- ie the better ones, so technically it should be better but i doubt it would make much difference

OMG I AM SO GUNNA DO THIS!!!!!!!! does it taste good?? im like uppsessed with sweet things!! once i was wearing my fave mint lipgloss (amazemint) and i acidentally liked y lips and it tasted so good that i tookk out the whole tube and stared liking the wand :D it tasted like sugar mint!! (btw it sadly resullted in a tummy ache :( ) so if this stuff tastes good i may have to restrin my self from byeing a 2 pound bag of sugar and a bottle of oil and mixing it and eating it :S :D

another good lip smoother is using a soft bristled toothbrush and scrubbing your lips lightly in small circular motions with plain ol' water or a tiny bit of olive oil oh and rubbing a strawberry on your teeth (it helps whiten them) because who wants soft lips and a yellowed smile??;)

I don't have olive oil in my kitchen, so I use honey and sugar. It makes my lips incredibly smooth and I also get a little treat for my sweet tooth. <3

extra virgin olive oil is just olive oil

it's called "extra virgin" because it's a better quality, it's from the olives first pressing so they aren't heated in the making

I break out if I use olive oil. My friend bought me some sugar lip scrub, I forget what company makes it, but I find it really works. The sugar helps so much though. Great tip, thanks for sharing!

Bath & Body Work's has a Liplicious line and it has a brown sugar lip scrub & lip tint. And one side is the sugar scrub for your lips and the other side is a lip tint, and it works AMAZINGGG, and it's only like $4. :)

When using olive oil on skin is actually typically used as a cleanser (it works wonderfully, might i add!) and for a moisturizer Jojoba oil is used, because it's the closest to skin's natural sebum.

you take vaseline on a toothbrush, and rub it on your lips, like you were brushing your teeth. it doesnt work very well though, and it kind of hurts. The sugar olive oil one works better! (:

put vaseline on your lips, a little more than you would normally put on if you were just moisturizing. they rub your lips with your tooth brush for like 20 seconds. and now your lips are exfoliated. do this a few times a week or whenever youre lips are chapped

i tried doing what you said and it worked. so awesome :) what i did was i mixed half and half (like a teaspoon of each ingredient) and just "scrubbed" my lips gently. i also tried it on my body (on my elbows). next time i'mma make a bigger batch and use it on the rest of my body. thanks for sharing the tip :)
