  • god i love that woman

  • A lot of good music all over the world but Great Balls of Fire was a Southern thang!

  • Don't be afraid little girls, its only me

    JERRY LEE

  • He played a cool Elvis in Heartbreak Hotel as well!

  • Shake it and shale it a whole lot a shaken going on

  • one of the best scenes ever!!!

  • this could beat Elvis. thats a champ. but its only one song.

  • Flagged For Piano Abuse

  • What's fifty percent of NOTHIN', man? - I love that line.

  • I lvoe it when Steve Allen throw's that chair back at Lewis make that two chairs

  • Kinda reminds me of the roadhouse scene......lol

  • I like the big chested woman in the one scene, I would do her

  • I love this scene, the girl with the tasseled shirt makes the movie even better.

  • Hey! I'm with the band!

  • Anyone else think Jerry Lee's singing sounded better when he got older?

  • I love when the lady in black dress gets to dance!!

  • the scene where he chases them with the piano is so cute!

  • Who is the girl?

  • That bar scene was terribly corny!

I was hoping someone would come up and smash a bottle over that dim dancing woman.

  • Funny that they show some parts where Elvis is kinda jealous of him!!I mean whats the point

    The sun shines 4 everybody!!!!

  • Why do they always pick brown eyed men to play Elvis?! He had some of the bluest eyes i've ever seen! They could at least make them wear contacts!

  • apparently during the making of the film jerry lee appeared on the set with a gun insisting on some changes in the script

  • this guy was beavis and butthead's father

  • 3:30 its the best part

  • i dont think he was all there! what kinf of man marries a 13 yr old girl and his cousin! sick sick sick. Elvis dated priscilla at 14 but he didnt miss with her or move her til she was 17!

  • @brionna33

    I agree

    I agree entirely

    WINONA RIDER IS SEXY

  • Who is the actress in the bar doing the shakin'...?????

  • 1:49...one of the most epic funny moments in movie history, ever.

  • A 56 sunburst Strat, the best guitar ever made... ;-)

  • DAMN the guy playing Elvis is hawt

  • Could anyone imagine if they had death metal back then :s XD

  • I always wonder whether the guy in the movie is really playing and singing. If he was, I think he should be a musician and not an actor!

  • @MsPassenger7 Jerry Lee Lewis is the one singing most of the tracks! Dennis Quaid just lip syncs

  • @20jaime10 how disappointing:(( joaquin pheonix did the singing and the playing when he portrayed johnny cash in walk the line... have u seen tht movie

  • @eeveelutions133 Did you know that Dennis Quaid made a "Great Balls of Fire" music video with Jerry Lee? He sang with him there and played the piano as well! And yea, I've seen that movie, Johnny Cash is my idol. :)

  • @20jaime10 aha mee too i love tht movie, anyways i like tht guy tht played jerry lee lewis in walk the line, i think he wouldve been a better choice if it was him instead of dennis quaid.. both good movies anyways:))

  • he did sing on some tracks and played he actually plays and has his own band

  • i wish i learned how to play the piano like Jerry!

  • @Mizvictor07

    Err...no.

  • If she wasn't his cousin and was atleast 18, that piano scene around 1:23 would've been a lot sexier.

  • Why are they four members in the band when they were on three in real life?

  • 1:26 if only i could be as good with girls as Jerry Lee was :)

  • My favorite scene in the movie when Elvis is watching in bed the future. I guess that's where Sid Vicious got his sneer. One issue I had with this movie as well as the Johnny Cash movie, neither one of them dramatized the Million Dollar photograph. That is Jerry, Elvis, Roy Orbison and Johnny Cash at a piano. It's a glaring omission.

  • Is it wrong to say I find Winona Ryder totally hot in this? Bear in mind that I know her real age, obviously...

  • @GallagherWellerBrown i dont think its wrong...mainly cuz i agree

  • @GallagherWellerBrown yes it is wrong because her face annoys me

  • @GallagherWellerBrown In the crucible she is hott too, just saying-.-

  • @GallagherWellerBrown She was 18 when she was in that movie, so no it's not wrong.

  • @GallagherWellerBrown it's no more wrong than to say i found Dennis Hopper totally hot in this movie when i saw this, when i was the age she's supposed to be in the movie...

  • @TheBeezusjones hmmm..that's not Dennis Hopper, it's Dennis Quaid. just to let ya know :)

  • White girls should not dance. Ever.

  • @Afraid0fGhosts

Sit down, shut the fuck up, and let the rest of us watch that white girl shake it. We like her moves just FINE...

  • @garethac81 Oh I'm sorry did I offend your white ass? Lol What a joke

  • @Afraid0fGhosts

Offend me? No...not my problem if you're a racist moron.

    Good luck with that.

  • @garethac81 racist? You're a typical moron, the first thought that pops into your tiny brain is racism...you sir, are hilarious. White ass=racist LOL

  • @Afraid0fGhosts

And you're one of those fools who think they can't be racist because they're black.

Tina Turner (black) dances like a drunken giraffe. Lady Gaga (white) is a very neat little mover. There goes your dumb theory about black women always being better dancers.

  • @garethac81 When did I state that I believe black women moved better? And when did I state that I was black myself??? Lol I'm just stating the obvious, that woman in that movie moves horribly but as we all know, it's fucking comedy. We are supposed to laugh at her lol

  • @Afraid0fGhosts

You didn't have to state anything...your bullshit comments give you away. This conversation is over.

  • @garethac81 No I'm not black you moron. I'm white. You made yourself look like a dumb prick.

  • Comment removed

  • That woman can really "shake" it. LMAO!

  • 5:31!!

  • @Greenfuzz138 4:20... that's SEX man....right then and there ....

  • That woman @4:17 man I would have loved to get ahold of her in the bedroom. Cause if you can move like that on the dance floor there is no telling what she can do when ur doing the horizontal polka. LMAO!

  • from 00:21-00:26 what are his hands playing?

  • from 00:21-00:26 what are the notes his hands are playing?

  • @Inequite It's verry simple, you play the chord C, F and G with left hand and you double the notes with the right hand ! C'est les accords du blues mais en binaire !!

  • @wilfryjules thank you

  • @wilfryjules thank you

  • Allegedly, Jerry Lee didnt like the movie. i find it completely enthralling, man. i could watch it every day. The REAL king of rock and roll.

  • great movie and music!

  • Can please somebody tell me when this film was made? ;)

  • @123SarahhJ I believe the film was made in 1989. I agree with DrewBludd...I could watch it everyday too. Quaid's performance is AMAZING!! I think he does a wonderful job playing the Killer. At 75 years young, the Killer is still rocking.....however, I don't think we've heard that much from Quaid lately.....lol!

  • Dennis Quaid is amazing in this film.

    He's also gorgeous.

  • anybody know who the blond dancer with the fring jacket is ?? just wondering if she did any oyher movies.

  • @carlmonico Did Elvis really not like Jerry Lee?

  • Check out jimmy Vaughan With the strat. Stevie's Big Brother.

  • Didn't Know Jimmie Vaughn was in this movie.. he fits with this 50's stuff perfectly. lol Awesome!

  • jerry lee is a perv

  • 7:42 was fucked up and his face was priceless

  • the 35yr old Quaid playing the 21yr old Lewis lip syncing to the 60yr old Lewis.

  • i love this movie

  • Sad how most of the music of that time was stolen from black singers.

  • @meemeepa so black singers playing black music is not stealing, but white singers playing black music is? Guess where Fats Domino, Ray Charles and Fats Domino got some of their hits; is that stealing as well?

  • "It's only me, Jerry Lee..." Creepy Mouse....

  • i love his hair. its so fluffy.

  • That girl that shakes is CRAZY!!!! omg!

  • @black98870 It is almost creepy! (totally)

  • Hahahaha. Debbie Harry is SO much prettier.

  • @senhuan I thought it was Bridget Fonda. ha but it's not.

  • LOL so back then they used to call it the devils music huh. Now listen to music like Slipknot or Avenged Sevenfold. If we took Heavy Metal from now back to the 50's, man, they'll have us sentenced to death.

  • @TexasAssKicking i agree! XDD

  • @TexasAssKicking

    Avenged Sevenfold is gay.

  • @TexasAssKicking don't you dare to compare slipknot to Jerry Lee, come on..

  • @nafunu thank you. there would be no slipknot without elvis, jerry lee or anybody cuz there would be no rock and roll and with no rock and roll there would be no rock, metal, ect. think about that for all you people that want to talk shit you be grateful. *no hate to your comment nafunu ;)*

  • @nafunu Jerry lee was more offensive than slipknot could ever be.

  • @TexasAssKicking Thats totally true, and all of the bands and people that listen to would either be in prison or the electric chair haha.

  • @TexasAssKicking They did. Lord knows if Screamin' Jay Hawkins and Link Wray did an album together, that'd be banned!

  • @TexasAssKicking More like burned at the stake

  • @TexasAssKicking

That's actually a good idea, if they ever invent time travel. I will go back, hijack all radio stations and cackle mockingly as the terrified and superstitious masses run on the streets, screaming.

See, it's funny because they're stupid.

  • kebra tudo jerry yeah !!! vc é o melhor ! jerry lee 4ever and ever !!! msm em ingles vc q nao entende nécas d ingles q nao é o meu caso , consegue compreender o filme todo pq as cenas são d pura atitude !

  • I just realized... the girl with the short cut brown hair is the first Becky from Roseanne... is it?

  • This is my favorite part of this movie that white girl can really shake it. she is the shit.

  • Hey you got to admit... that lady in the polka dot dress was getting down in the beginning! LMFAO!

  • Yes You are so right.

  • haha she was

  • There is a segment missing from this part - when Sam Philips turns down Whole Lotta Shakin'.

  • I could just see somebody getting an erection from that girl with the ruffley shirt shaking her stuff. Like one of those drunk guys, or in the last part when that lady was rubbing those guys's noses in her chest.

  • you are so right

  • hahaha her xpression is priceless lmao

  • Hey Mr wishbonedude, that song Jerry Lee was singing you asked about was called I'm Throwing Rice (at The Girl I Love by Eddy Arnold..... just thought i would post that for ya

  • man, there is something addictive about this movie and Quad's performance!

  • @JBmiddleOFnoWHERE

    ITS CALLED ROCK N ROLL

  • That scene with the sultry blond dancer is in my top 10. That girl was perfect for the part, and Dennis Q was great. This music will last forever, Lord willin anf the river don't rise.

  • is he still alive?

    i love his songs.=]

  • yeah i saw his concert today hes still awesoem hes 74

    and still rock ^^

  • for the ignorant.....alot of black artists were signed to labels for the songs but radio and record stores wouldnt play the it because they were black so they let elvis and lewis and others sing those songs which in turn got air play and sold records which made the music comp money which in turn gave black artists the chance to also make records of their own and get on the radio...the white artists didnt steal anything and it opened the doors for those other artists...so ty to EP and others.

  • lmao "50/50 remember"

  • shake it babe shake it. its funny how white people then took negro music...elvis too.
