Boring, boring, boring..Skins 1 & 2 are the best..Cassie, Sid, etc made it brilliant..Skins 3 & 4 are the greatest n sweet..Effy just so good, Fredd is my fuckin fav, n Cook is awesome..But I didn't see any interesting character in theese 2 series..Just so bland n it seemed like Skins lost the identity..for me, Skins is Cassie, Tony, Sid, etc and Effy, Freddie, n Cook and the gang..that's what we call impressive series..

it's sad to say but i'm looking forward to the us version more than this . the us version is simply a reincarnation of series 1 w/ a twist and this is kind of boring , the characters seem plain and none of them really stand out to me . but as skins always does we'll first get a look at each character and then series 6 we'll go deeper into their personalities & might learn to love them , and they'll end up killing off one of my favorites. fingers crossed .

What happened to the lookers? The first two seasons were fantastic, and seasons 3 and 4 were fair, but now its like they are scraping the bottom of the barrel for the lead character in season 5. Most are lookers though. I sincerely hope they get better looking lead players for season 6. The lead characters should always be lookers. There aren't any lookers at all in the new U.S. version, so I doubt it will last more than 1 or 2 seasons..at best.Effy is my all-time favorite.

Season 3-4 was pure shit, and it was boring and plain, and this generation looks like they would kick generation 2's ass hardcore, so I suggest you keep your mouth shut if you haven't seen them act or don't know the story plot.

@Transactal I think it's more along the lines of : they are a product of the nature of their generation. They are naked and pure at the start yes, but it's not as if they are being stereotyped, but given characteristics (clothes) very must like a mannequin. But in the end it leads their own demise, which means the mannequin breaking is just a foreshadowing to the future events. Their generation's customs is what gives them their own characteristics.
