I've seen a few comments and I don't have time to read them all, but I say this test was already faulty because you can't tell what processes are running on the android before initiating the tests. The phones should both have been run as if they are out of the box, with a fresh wipe. In both cases, conditions are going to vary based on what functions are running on the phones. I can't support this video as accurate cause I see my girlfriends phone run faster than any page loads in this video.

@Rayz093 How the heck is that cheating if the page is actually loaded, you can read, you can scroll, you can do anything you would ask from a browser. It says it's loading, but it's actually rendering the reader file and loading the ads. It doesn't kill your browser experience, so there's no reason to say it fails with the rotating circle.

ios 5 has better javascript performance compared to 2.3 gingerbread.... so even a ip4 on ios 5 would almost be a match for gs2... but 4.0 ice cream would be a different story altogether
So basically, you ran the iPhone 4S against one Samsung Galaxy SII and the 4S lost... then you ran the iPhone 4S against another provider's SII and the 4S won? All that actually proves is that Apple's hardware isn't as 'ahead of the game' as they make people believe.

I have to say I don't trust these reviews at all. Galaxy S II should have a factory reset and all applications should be closed on both devices. Since the SmartPhoneEnvy and PocketNow reviews both demonstrate the Galaxy S II to be faster(which makes sense because it is clocked at 1.2Ghz), I can't exactly trust this. The iPhone 4s is a good phone. The reason it is a disappointment is that it merely competes with the 5 month old Galaxy S II and actually still comes short. It will be behind soon

Funny any video that shows apple in any way being better than andriod gets a ton of dislikes. I garantee if the gs2 was faster in this video there would be like 380 like and 20 dislikes. @Rayz093 How the heck is that cheating if the page is actually loaded, you can read, you can scroll, you can do anything you would ask from a browser. It says it's loading, but it's actually rendering the reader file and loading the ads. It doesn't kill your browser experience, so there's no reason to say it fails with the rotating circle.

So basically, you ran the iPhone 4S against one Samsung Galaxy SII and the 4S lost... then you ran the iPhone 4S against another provider's SII and the 4S won? All that actually proves is that Apple's hardware isn't as 'ahead of the game' as they make people believe.
Considering how much more you end up paying for an iPhone 4S, it should have decimated both phones, especially as both Samsungs were older (I may be wrong).
Where Apple succeeds though is Siri, once they regionalise it that is.

Please remember that this is the T-Mobile variant. The T-Mobile variant uses a 1.5 GHz Scorpion dual-core CPU. The 1.2 GHz variant (Exynos) although having a lower clock speed, is faster in benchmarks, flash player and general internet browsing due to the Mali-400 MP in the Exynos SOC. The 1.5 GHz variant uses an Adreno 220. But in my honest opinion, you can't go wrong with either device.

@noobownzify did u see both videos? If not check them out he is a cheat. There are a bunch of videos on here since earlier this year reviewing the galaxy s2 and it has never ran this slow. Reviewers need to show the wifi on each device before the test unless they have something to hide.. this is the fastest phone on the market it should never run slow unless the connection is slow. This device has 50% more processor speed than the iphone. I smell something fishy. And its apple scented

I have to say I don't trust these reviews at all. Galaxy S II should have a factory reset and all applications should be closed on both devices. Since the SmartPhoneEnvy and PocketNow reviews both demonstrate the Galaxy S II to be faster(which makes sense because it is clocked at 1.2Ghz), I can't exactly trust this. The iPhone 4s is a good phone. The reason it is a disappointment is that it merely competes with the 5 month old Galaxy S II and actually still comes short. It will be behind soon
