i agree with phytonx slash just sounds better cuz he looks like he feels the music more, wether thats becuz bucketheads got a fkin 10 piece on his face or not i dnt no but its go no emotion!
You obviously haven't listened to the electtric tears album..in fact probably nothing other than a few videos on google, and jordan. educate yourself before casting an uninformed decision.
ps they both rule, who cares which one is better, it's pretty subjective when it comes to these two
in my opinion you can´t compare these two;tey´re from totally differnet end in theire style;slash is more the blues-rooted classic hardrock guitarist and buckethead is more experimental,always searching for new ways to express himself on the guitar;they´re both awesome in there own right
Buckethead is technically a better guitarist I would have to say by far..... but his originality is far surpased by Slash's. Not to say that BH is unoriginal, but he is the product of Paul Gilbert, which is apparent in his playing style and ability. Slash, for his time, has to be one of the most ground breaking musicians out there.
God, I'd have to say buckethead.... Slash is overrated... But not by much, He's and insane guitar ist, But just hear Buckethead! its like if yngwie malmsteen and paul gilbert had a baby chicken!

Speed is just a sideline benefit for Buckethead. Probably 85% of his slow is slow and emotional.
