As i browse on youtube, i found this very funny fact. Most of the videos from anti-china and separatists are only saying one thing, china is lying and all the chinese GLOBALLY did before and during the olympics was told by the government. They state it right on the title clearly. if viewers are biased already, they dont even watch the video. However, if you ever watch the video they posted, you just see no supports or even no relation to their titles.

MANY of those "56 ethnic groups" do not consider themselves Chinese nor did they want to be hostily taken over and annexed into the Han Chinese motherland. People in outer Mongolia are much freer and prouder than those in Inner Mongolia. Why, because they have more freedom of choice. TIbetans and many others don't want to be part of this forced union. I haven't, but I got along with plenty of Manchus when I was in Old Yehenala town in China, they were actually happy that they live in China because since the end of the Qing untill the reforms started by Deng, they have always been victims of persecution.

And Inner Mongolia is more "Mongolian" than Mongolia itself, it still uses its own banner and league system, traditional Mongolian script is being teached there etc. And most important of all: There are more Mongolians living in Inner Mongolia than in Outer Mongolia, Outer Mongolia may have more freedoms than Inner Mongolia, but that will not give them any good standards of living which 36% of its population doesn't have. Inner Mongolia is much more cultural and developed than Outer Mongolia.

Inner Mongolia's HDI is at 0.779, Outer Mongolia's barely at 0.600. Standard of living higher than in Inner Mongolia? That's what everybody has been hoping for, 20% of the Mongolian population in Outer Mongolia has to live on less than $1.25 a day.
