@Tennisers For the most part, my impression is that IJAers don't consider themselves "sport jugglers" because the sport juggling community (read: WJF) is based on competition and hard-for-the-sake-of-hard tricks while IJA seems to be more interested in people like Jay Gilligan, Wes Peden and Komei Aoki who are more interested in creating unique sequences than they are doing b97530 360s.

@dylangriggsjuggler "Most" jugglers in the IJA, and I love Wes Peden, but keep in mind he trains 5up 540s and 5 club backcrosses, and 3up 540 into overhead. He didn't win in WJF for nothing. And most Taiwanese/Asian diaboloists think of diabolo as sport, competition, and Vova is in that video, and David Ferman(who competes in WJF) Tony Pezzo(who doesn't compete in WJF, but was doing mad technical stuff, and some other guys whose names I don't know.

It's diabolo. Diablo is the spanish word for devil, while diabolo comes from greek.

Many people call them Chinese Yo-yos, but this is incorrect; the Chinese Yo-yo has a different design, basically involving a rod with a disc on either end, as opposed to the two cups of the diabolo.

You can find them at many online juggling stores.
