The reflected light seems to have a life of its own...they move randomly and independantly and when something explodes near them, they scatter! :p

@thedsearch Sorry changed email account so I missed your comment. The mirrors were just scrap glass (~6X8 inches). If you are interested in an attempt at a greater distance reply and we will start a discussion of the cheats and realities

@thedsearch I used a small concave bathroom mirror and it worked perfectly, albeit at a short distance but still.

I think they may have thought thier ray was on target, whilst others who were on target would move to see if it was theirs that was off target, they should have aimed one at a time!

immagine trying to hold a camera chest level and keep it pointed steady at a relatively small target at a safe distance from explosives.

NICE. What was the box made out of, and what was in it?

The box was made out of plywood weakly held together with shock cord. Since the noise & smoke are produced by explosive mixtures I only give this information to individuals that can demonstrate they will use it for educational purposes.
