Wolverine is also essentially immortal. He won't die of old age. At least, not until he is thousands of years old. He also has super strength and senses. Just because his only "weapon" is his pair of claws doesn't make him any lesser.

I wished there was more Storm and Phoenix in the Xmen movies. I love those characters from the comics, i don't think the movies did them justice. Holywood bias, they don't like strong women. (name a movie with a strong female lead. Just one, there are a couple but very few)

@VarunMehta4Eva I know right, and there is so much that they can do with Storm, and there is a lot of character development. For example, the novel version of the x-men movie showed where her abilities came from after being beaten by a bunch of kids with sticks. They could also show Storm's claustrophobia.
i could be wrong but i think the reason they omitted this scene is because it does not come entirely compatible with storm's mutant power, but i do see the logic of her being able to draw water out from the skies. however, she's a weather telepath and not some water-type mutant who controls water. still though, this movie sucked and totally ruined my expectations. i hope in the reboot or on the next movie, theyd do it justice (providing that the current plans do get a go)

@MsFeisty919 No not at all,im petty up to date on my X-comics and major appearances of Storm,and it was never stated that Ororo was Class 5.First of all in the comics they don't use the term class 5,they say Omega Level,and Storm has been described as possible Omega Level mutant. However her power level is still unknown and not definite.Storm could probably defeat Jean(Phoenix),but not when she's Dark Phoenix or the whole entity itself.Too much cosmic power.

Actually the electricity surrounding storms brain is very true,Because of Storms ability to use her mind to control the weather buy using psionic charges, The charges in her brain are more powerful than average which prevents and telepathy or and thoughts from getting to her. in the comics this is true if you remember the last stand when storm made the fog and jean grey was looking confused as to where it came from thats because she couldnt read storm,other wise she could have killed storm not!
I hope they make a sequel with the First Class actors. Since storm had a cameo in first class they could show her origin story and have Shadow King be the villain. It'd be awesome to see xavier and emma frost on the astral plane (maybe throw in jean as well to show when xavier locks away phoenix).
I dunno why it went over everyone's head that the Phoenix only killed those who tried to kill Jean before she became full Phoenix. Professor X tried to kill her with cerebro and her boyfriend tried to kill her which is why her leg was broken. I'm not saying she would have done it. But her dark side was all instinct and probly viewed them as a threat.
the reason why strom is not in X-men first class is because she was not an original x-men she came later because i think in the comics they showed how she used to be a thief when she wuz little and everything but she wuz not an original x-men that much i know

O and yes to all who is saying that storm is classified as strong as the phoenix she is Professor Xavier has already said that in the comics, Jean Greys ultimate form is called the phoenix And Storms ultimate form is called Goddess.And yes jean grey and Storm are the only class 5 omega mutants

@MsFeisty919 No not at all,im petty up to date on my X-comics and major appearances of Storm,and it was never stated that Ororo was Class 5.First of all in the comics they don't use the term class 5,they say Omega Level,and Storm has been described as possible Omega Level mutant. However her power level is still unknown and not definite.Storm could probably defeat Jean(Phoenix),but not when she's Dark Phoenix or the whole entity itself.Too much cosmic power.

@MsFeisty919 from what i know, storm is a potential omega level mutant like magneto, but not entirely an equal to the phoenix. however, if its just jean grey and storm alone, in a battlefield, the winner would be whoever gets to strike first. either storm fries jean with lightning or jean quickly levitates and tears her to pieces but you know, i havnt entirely read the comics so i may have missed some details

and the X men @ where storm was affected by cerebro is total bs And the reason being is because storm was underground, and you know storms powers dont work well underground she cant still use lighting and create little storms but not use the full power of the weather as if she was outside thats the only reason cerebro got through to her because she was to far underground for her powers to work properly

Actually the electricity surrounding storms brain is very true,Because of Storms ability to use her mind to control the weather buy using psionic charges, The charges in her brain are more powerful than average which prevents and telepathy or and thoughts from getting to her. in the comics this is true if you remember the last stand when storm made the fog and jean grey was looking confused as to where it came from thats because she couldnt read storm,other wise she could have killed storm not!

I hope they make a sequel with the First Class actors. Since storm had a cameo in first class they could show her origin story and have Shadow King be the villain. It'd be awesome to see xavier and emma frost on the astral plane (maybe throw in jean as well to show when xavier locks away phoenix).

I dunno why it went over everyone's head that the Phoenix only killed those who tried to kill Jean before she became full Phoenix. Professor X tried to kill her with cerebro and her boyfriend tried to kill her which is why her leg was broken. I'm not saying she would have done it. But her dark side was all instinct and probly viewed them as a threat.

Though I did like how they had Colosus and Shadowcat near each other in many scenes. *read the comics so i was all 'Finally!'*
