FYI I found the Werewolf that spawns in Silverwood at the top of the tower near the Hag fight platform. I killed it and it spawned the Lunar Shadestalker. Seemed odd.

@MrChester86 Nah, just a random patrol xaksha does. I've killed at both locations.

I found Zatzak Browncap aswell as Browncap Cutter @ 5475,2543. I was spamming my targeting macro while entering Gloamwood and I targeted Zatzak. He ran up the hill and formed into a red, summoning type portal and spawned 3 sets of 4 Browncap Cutters, which is another rare mob on the list of rare mobs for the zone. On the 3rd set of adds that he spawned, he became targetable again. Each of these adds that he spawned dropped a green. Not sure if this is a bug or what, just thought I would post it.

I appreciate all of the information and I'm still working on finding Scald, Stalker of the Grove, and Dozer; but would really appreciate a much small more compiled video. You kind of just jabber a lot :(

Oh god.. cant believe I saw the 2 rarest of this movie in like 2 hours without knowing they where so rare :D and i was lvl 20 WL so didnt had a change xD

So watch out guys, it appears that not only Invasions, Rifts, NPCs and Players screw up your hunting, but also apparently the rare mobs themselves too, by disappearing. I guess this is meant to make them 'rarer'. What a pain in the ass. (I have to admit though, that it makes the challenge of gaining the ultimate hunter achievement that much tastier.)

As a fellow hunter, I wish to share some of my hunting experience.

I was standing in front of the "Event Starter"(Red Ball) for Scald in Gloamwood.

Since I have a friend in my guild that is also interested in rare mobs, I always notify him when I find something and wait till he arrives. Guess what happened while waiting? The event disappeared. Just like that, without a word. Oh, how I was pissed.

I just saw the Millrush Moonstalker get wrecked by a fire rift. Needless to say, I was pissed.

Trion needs to make rares neutral to all other NPCs, and all NPCs should be neutral to rares period. Only players should be able to knock them out.

Multiple spawns for sure. Found stalker of tears in tearfall catacombs, which spawns after clicking a "pile of victoms." And after seeing what Scarbite and Scald do, seems to also confirm that. This zone is just a pain in the butt.

I had Gnar Nighthunter and Stalker of the Grove exactly as they are at Zam, so they have multiple spawns too.

still cant find Zatzak Browncap ...
