Thanks for the video. Answers almost everything I was looking for, except the calling function part. Any idea what type of solution/products that could allow phone calls to be patched through the car stereo? Microphone included (if need be).

i was the rare case. my outlit was in the back (fml) and my xm was installed in it.. (double fml) it took me about 30min to unplug it and me.. being an idiot didnt look at the directions thoroughly plugged the wrong plugs in first and now its kinda retarded to get to work on my radio.. and i killed my battery ... tripple fml... but not my car has aux.. to bad the battery's dead now. SMH

@namhuynh2706 i got a similar kit. its a headphone jack so its for any mp3 ipod ect. it works good. i need to reinstall mine cuz i was a dumbass and hooked up the wires in the wrong order , also you should practice taking the console apart before u get the kit so u 1. get used to it and 2. find out if ur that rare case where the outlit is in the back. and if u have xm it will make it a little harder to unplug it i have a 04 but if u have a 03-11 u can use this kit:

my car has the seat warmer switch on the gear box, next to the shift knob, is this the same way to remove thos?

@SpiralHunter0 Yes it is, you would just need to disconnect 2 plugs for the seat warmers once you remove the panel.

amazing kit i got it just this afternoon like an eager kid and actually installed it in 10 mins . given that i removed the parts the night before . amazing quality and sound that it produces CD quality and its very simple and compact..... i highly recommend it. oh one thing get yourself a magnet cuz it took me almost an hour to put the last 2 screw back in cuz it kept falling on me ...but the GTA car kit for the accord is highly recommended wonderful product

@glade2126 Yes it will fit all accords. But its best to check if your connection is on the bottom of the radio. Some rare cases have the connection at the back. Please email us through the website for tech support :)

Man thanks for this video I had an ipod connect for my honda I had best buy install it for me then something went wrong and I got no sound from my ipod, cd, or radio. So I came come watch this video and reinstalled it myself. I do not know what they did wrong but your video has my ipod working great. Thanks.

So I know the ipod cable works too, but if I wanted to connect my phone that has a 3.5mm input, then I can also use that with this kit?

Basically does this kit support both 3.5mm AUX and an ipod?

Because installing just an AUX input costs like 90 bucks if you do it right. But this kits seems to do more than just an 3.5mm jack.

Also By any chance is there a way to run the cable all the way to the compartment that is right behind the handbrake where there is another Cigarette lighter?

@f00bert24 Hi, Yes the kit supports both, the Ipod/Iphone connection and the AUX. So you can connect any device that play music and has a 3.5mm AUX out. But of corse you won't be able to control it when you are using AUX.

You can run the cable there, would just require more disassembly.

I have an '03 Accord but your video shows that when you press the cd/aux button that different things/modes appear but mine does not. It only has cd and doesn't do anything when I push the button or hold it down.

@BitchtitsChance your button will only be working like in the video, AFTER you install the kit. Before you install the kit you won't have any features like in the video.

Yeah it will be the same, and the kit connects on the bottom of the radio :)
