Im really enjoying this series, though its kinda hard to root for the Be Yes guys. they don't seem to care about their students any more than how little they accuse the other school of caring. if I was paying for language lessons, Id like the teacher to at least be bilingual and not assign random quizzes in between daydreaming.

This series started off looking promising and I liked the first one enough to want to watch more, but it is just getting worse and worse with each episode. If its a comedy then it should be funny. If its a drama, it should be dramatic. Pick one, don't try to make it both. The way it is now is neither funny nor dramatic.

look, the production value is completely remarkable, but the writing/story is hackneyed, cliched, its all things we've all seen before, and not believable. The british guy drinking all their drinks??? come on. And having the narrator trying to shoehorn some kind of lesson into the episode each time is laughably painful.

idk, i've never seen this kind of rivalry between teachers in different schools and the idea that Gova workers are raking it in is uncomfortable...Nova employees are paid for teaching hours meaning their salary rests on them spending all day teaching. it just would have been really cool if some of the problems in eikaiwa/english teaching beyond incompetent teachers were part of the series... but still - good job guys!
