Point is that you are an islander with little knowledge of the rest of latin america. you are a disgrace. You should reach out to your latin brothers and embrace the diversity that exists. Africa, Europe, and America. Good luck... I am off to the islands. Chat soon. :)
@sugacosta, white latinos will steal everyones heritage to try and deceive the world by hiding the african culture and influence, i defend africa because people like you will supress the culture you hate so much yet when the music starts u wanna dance.sorry europeans their no unity until thetruth comes out

this dance is similar to rumba, it comes from yoruba tribe in nigeria, this is a pure west african style of music, with no european influence whatsover. salsa has some european influence but rumba, samba, guaganco, bomba, punto is purely of african influnce

What a load of crap. The Majority? Go visit Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Mexico, Uruguay etc, Latin music in SOME areas is a fusion of African, European, and native. Get real!
You are an idiot. Read the comment. If Uruguay has any African influence it is minimal. It does not constitute a "MAJORITY". Probably less than 5%. The countries that express a GREAT African influence are : Colombia, Brazil, and the Caribbean... Peru comes close ( but the overwhelming majority of Peruvian music is NOT African. If you want to get schooled again then reply... lol
@sugacosta , this isnt latin music, this music is puro africano, just because they sing in latin doesnt not mean the music has anything to do with europeans
Who mentioned exclusivity of European influence? You guys are NOT reading the comments. Go back to school. The statement that is false is the one by TREZURU..."the majority of so- called Latinos/Hispanics comes from Black Africa." THAT IS FALSE. For example... Joropos, pasillos, valses, cuecas and on and on....
Most latin music is NOT purely African. Back it up with facts. Define purely.... If you come from an island that only plays Tumbao then you may think that. And even so you only have a part of the musical picture. Broaden your horizons and do not diminish the influences of the other cultures that make Latin culture and music so beautiful. my challenge to you is to investigate and prove me wrong. I wait for your reply.
@quepasa3000 I can say the same thing about other musical forms. Where in Africa do they play una Guabina, torbellino or mariachi? They probably don't. Gets back to my point. There are MANY musical forms that are not Afro based.
@sugacosta , im still waiting for your reply. I doubt u even know anything about the origins of rumba ,guaganco, samba. just take a trip to west and central africa and you will see where this dance is from. sorry has nothing to do with europeans, their is no european influence whatsover in guaganco dance in this. this is purely of west african origin from yoruba tribe in nigeria
@quepasa3000 I do know the origins. They are not the only musical forms in latin music. I have been to Africa. I acknowledge the origins of our culture and do not diminish the contributions made by all. It is careless and dangerously reckless of you to state that most latin music is Afro based. Again not true. There are many, many musical forms in latin america, We still have a disconnect on the issue. I am NOT debating you on the Afro influence in Rumba, Samba etc.
@trezuru afro cuban lol not Black african and believe me in africa the people say that cubans have changed the music not in a good way..lol but still I friggin love the sounds of afro cuban.
This is very original, It really makes you understand where salsa came from. You should post this on SalsadynastyDOTcom where salseros from everywhere post their videos.

I am NOT debating you on the Afro influence in Rumba, Samba etc.

nolilili 3 years ago

kriptozoositocratico 2 years ago

isieins 3 years ago
tumapr 3 years ago
tumapr 3 years ago
nolilili 3 years ago
tumapr 3 years ago
nolilili 3 years ago
tumapr 3 years ago
nolilili 3 years ago
tumapr 3 years ago
nolilili 3 years ago 3

azalori 3 years ago
luzka28 3 years ago
