Yeah I'm sure this will be far too distracting and will cause far too many accidents. After all it isn't in mercedes best interest to design automobiles that keep people safe, they would never test for that too extensively.
The tech is very cool, but the interface and gestures appear to be far too distracting for road use. You're supposed to be driving a car, not composing an orchestra.
@Xenctuary Have you seen the progress google have made with self drive cars? 180,000 miles on real roads without ANY driver interaction! by the time this technology launches we wont need to drive the car anyway. OMG i cant fucking wait.
So I can street race while having a cup of tea and eating crumpets LOL!

Don't know about anyone else, but I couldn't hear/understand what the woman was saying.
Yeah, and major safety issue.

Brings distraction to a whole new level. Dear MB, while you're at it, why not implement a theremin mode as well.

Today, it is possible to produce a mobile even smaller than a bean, but everything is supposed to be used by human, not to show off the technology.

The menu on the right is just too far away. Put it on the windscreen and use eye tracking to control instead of hand.
