  • God. I'd never heard of The Swan, and I wish now that I still hadn't. That made me sick to my stomach, and not even the heavenly combination of Frankie and Charlie could make it palatable.

  • @carolkath Well get ready, it's coming to Britain any time now!

  • "It's heartbreaking as a human being." Can we show this to all the twits who think Frankie is horrible and note that no, he just has a decent moral compass, not a corrupt, disgusting moron compass.

  • At 03:53 - Frankie's famous Stephen Hawking-impression.

  • Holy fuck that Swan show is terrifying. D:

  • The Swan reminds me of that episode of the Twilight Zone where the woman gets surgery to fix her disfigured face and when they pull the bandages off her she's gorgeous but then the doctors pull their masks off and it turns out everyone else is a pig-faced mutant.

Or that Twilight Zone episode where the horrible rich guys wear those masks that permanently twist their faces.

Or that other Twilight Zone episode with the living mannequins.

I guess what I mean to say is that the Swan is fucked up.

  • @encliticcopula I like your charming meandering towards a solid point!

  • Oh God. The Swan is depressing.

I'll have a Josie over a 'Swan' anyday.

  • George the falcon! Take his eyes!

  • I think every girl who watched this fell a little bit in love with Frankie during this.

    Or at least, I did.

  • The Swan is pure satanic evil

  • 5:48

Honestly, with all the shit going on in the whole world THAT made me lose all faith in humanity.

  • The look on Charlie's face at 0:17... XD

  • ew plastic surgery is so ugly. if you could actually make people more beautiful i would totally understand why people would do it, but why would you want to look like THAT? D:

  • I watched the Swan when I was nine and I was quite offended. I wasn't well versed in women's issues (mostly because I hadn't thought of it) but I was like, "So these pretty girls get their faces get all cut so that they can look like them?"

  • Josie is so hot and nice! Frankie's also great, love those two together.

  • And remember girls! The only way for you to ever feel self-confident is to let people cut out parts of your body like butchers!

  • 8:52

I can't stop myself from laughing each time I see it.

  • Gingers aren't even a race, how is it that people are so "rasicst" against gingered people? I'm curious.

  • The US has a new show like The Swan called Bridalplasty, where brides compete to be cut up before their wedding. I've never seen it, but even just a vague awareness of its existence saddens me to no end.

  • AMEN AMEN AMEN. The Swan was evil.

  • i am a man and im loving it

  • The Swan has to be one of the most depressing and heartbreaking shows I've ever seen, I don't think I would be able to get through a whole episode. These women don't need plastic surgery, they need extensive counselling. Giving them plastic surgery is just giving the problem a different face. It's so sad that these women would rather be a plastic doll rather than themselves.

  • "GEORGE THE FALCON, TAKE HIS EYES!"

  • @colinfirth07 I think you're spot on - that's the thing about Frankie. He's not horrible just to shock, but to express the deep and abiding disgust he has for the loathsome world he sees around him, especially given how wonderful it could be. And I, for one, certainly sympathize with his reaction - the gap between what people could be and what they choose to be is the most sickening concept conceivable.

  • 8:26 is terrifying. it is like a twisted episode of Dr. Who. THE MANNEQUINS HAVE COME TO LIFE AND IF YOU DON'T BECOME BEAUTIFUL LIKE THEM YOU'RE F****D!!!

  • The people who made that program are cunts.

  • Josie is so damn cute

  • In the Swan, couldn't they just fill a sink or a tub with water and look at their reflection or are they just stupid enough to not even think about it?

  • @MrLazyEyes Remember that you're talking about a group of people who volunteered to be on "The Swan". I think the answer is pretty clear.

  • josie is so cute. definitely would. definitely would.... all night. tenderly and lovingly too.

  • The Swan has a very similare premise to one of an 1800-1900 sociocritical scifi novel.

  • Josie if you ever see this you look better than those plastic fantastics anyway.

The light of intellegence and personality behind the eyes can never be replicated.

  • @Nexius8 that has to be one of the most beautiful things i've ever heard. Well, at least on Youtube.

And its true, those women all had dead robotic eyes, but Josie's got that spark

  • I think most people would be more attractive if you made them excerise for 3 months and gave them more self confidence through real counseling sessions.

I know it would work wonders for my looks if I got rid of a few kgs and actually had the confidence to pull some decent fashion off.

  • @Nexius8 All that exercise and counselling will never make up for their atrocious personalities, as demonstrated by their participation in "The Swan". Honestly, what kind of person would look at the setup for a program like that and think, "Here's something I should be a part of"? All they've done is transformed them from people obsessed with their "horrid" looks to people obsessed with their "good" looks.

  • Even through the framework of criticism I find the Swan horrifying. Could barely watch that.

  • Why do Brits hate people with red hair? America'll take them, Britain.

  • I don't see why they were so happy when they saw themselves, they all seemed to have twisted their new face into a hideous grimace by the time they'd reached the mirror.

And besides, they just looked ugly in a different way. Rather than being looking like unattractive people, they looked like shop window dummies.

  • they all look really out of proportion, like a wax model on a hot day......ironic much?

  • these people are like hideous play-doh fanatics.

do you think there is an episode where the woman hates the way they look after?

  • the irony of the song 'if everyone looked the same'being played as a long stream of girls, all been sculpted to look like each other, parade themselves

  • @2spoonsmaloy I was going to comment on the irony of that song being used for that part.

  • from 'Blah' to 'Chica-bam'

these peoples bodies in these peoples hands
