Haha :). Boyfriend has a black backed husky named Mana(it is a male) after a something in videogames and because he has a tree-like pattern on his forehead.. "The Mana Tree" is what he's initially named after.

(I am rusty with Husky coats. I know mainly herd/flushing coats cause I grew up with a liver-coloured English Springer Spaniel and I was close to a Black Saddle Tan Point Aussy Shepherd)

100% pure KC Reg Siberian Huskies - the ones you are probably referring to are the darker agouti colouring, which are not the usual 'traditional' markings that are more often seen.

I love the agouti-wolf color. It is usually seen in the old-fashion Seppala Siberian racing lines, and not the typical show/pet. Your dogs are gorgeous. Mine only howl when I leave, and never when I'm around to sing with them.

Thanks for your comment. You are correct about agouti in Seppala lines (and they often produce saddlebacks). Our bloodlines descend from Zero and Anadyr. Anadyr kennels having links with Seppala lines back in the 30s.

Totally jealous. I would love to get ahold of some anadyr dogs. Mine come from the full Seppala lines, though recent dogs look like hounds crosses...I wonder if somebody is slipping in genes to make a faster dog...

No - the dogs are not part wolf they are 100% pure Siberian Huskies. Many people claim they have wolf-dogs when they are merely husky breeds or husky cross breeds!!!

real nice video bro, i had a husky but he wasnt very well trained, he dug alot of holes in the backyard and chewed the corners of our deck and it wasnt because he was teething, he was two years old all his teeth in,he would lay down and chew the deck until the side of his mouth would bleed constantly

Thanks for your comment! Yep, people don't realise how destructive the breed can become if they get bored plus they have a natural digging urge. They buy them after watching Disney films or because they look like a wolf and don't realise how much time and work they need. In the end they go up for rehome and you see all the ads - 'we don't have enough time to exercise him ' or 'baby on the way, no time for dog'. Makes me mad :(

yeah man. well we had one a few years back. she was a female, great dog couldnt complain but when we would go out we would fine piles of blood in spots that we wouldnt normally go to so she was pissing out blood and didnt want us to find it, she was an amazing dog she had 8 great years but unfortunately she died on september 11,2004, pretty scarry huh?

Isn't it obvious from how well behaved they are? Nobody should have multiple dogs if you don't know the rules of pack animals and that humans are ALWAYS the alphas?

You tend to get more problems with single dogs whose owners spoil them to death and dress them up like dolls. I've seen more aggresion in toy/small dogs than huskies who are more natural as pack dogs.

See, the fix for that is to get a cat who thinks he IS a dog.

That sure is a lot of Sibes. Are they all purebred? You so rarely see those agouti and sable colors. That guy closest to the camera at the beginning of the movie is especially handsome.
