  • 0 People are wrong about this video. Nicee.

  • @celestialmehhh yeah, and that's strange on youtube :D

    The power of McKee's music!

  • WOW! A VIDEO WITHOUT DISLIKES!!!

  • andy mckee, like chuck norris, only needs one take for perfection.

  • best rylynn cover on all of youtube

  • Wonderfull i love u any mckee

    MSN: lovestory_xd39@yahoo.com

  • I saw this truly gifted man at Butler University in October, with two other guitar legends Eric Johnson and Pepino D'Agustino, and this song sounded so beautiful in their concert hall.

  • omg i want to have sex with this song ....it is sooo beautiful !!

  • if i hear it on my car when im drivin, take it sure that i will to turn on a smoke stop my car, down my window glass and i will scream! THIS SHIT IS MUSIC MADE BY GOD!

  • rylynn would so happy ! :)

  • Tabs? haha

  • Andy McKee is god.

Andy McKee With Stache is better than chuck Norris.

  • andy mckee was born with a guitar in his hand, im sure of it

  • @hatecrewsj OMG im agree

  • I like the part when he plays guitar

  • @princezik he got his first guitar at his 13th birthday...

  • Wow all people know good music :D

ist just 222 thumps up otherside 0 down

  • @iKeevE That is because this video is like a leprechaun's gold. You can't find it unless you are really looking for it and made a human sacrifice at the alter of the guitar god. Thus all who come to this video want to hear it and are already in love with the music. Hope that explains things.

  • Andys beard contains special powers we shall never speak of.

  • life sucks...songs begins...life is beautiful...song ends...life sucks

  • that looks like a laravee. is it?

  • he plays better with hair

  • beautiful melody and intense playing

  • Andy! You have hair!

  • I recognise that tone! i have the exact same guitar, even have video's of me playing it on my channel. Fantastic guitar, Avalon L32.

  • damn that's why i love music

  • too play a song like this is one thing but too write down something like that is more then god like . I saw him live and hear each emotion in each note of one song .

Thanks for your music andy :-)

  • dude sungha SMASHES people when it come too guitar.. soo suck itttt!!!!!!

  • @uniiadrenaline Sungha is a great guitarist in the making but he is no were near the level of Andy Mckee

  • @uniiadrenaline you cant even compare sungha and this guy. Maybe sungha will be as good/better when he's his age, but as long as the age gap exists (which it obviously will) this guy will pwn.

  • @xxbluejay21

You were right first time, you can`t compare. Sungha may match him as a guitarist in future, but I`ll eat my own arse if he gets anywhere near him as a composer

  • @antevans1 nah I think he has potential to be better than Andy when he gets to this age. As in, he'll be better than andy was whne he was, say, 30. But by then Andy will be like 50 and he'll have improved loads.

  • @antevans1 Agreed. Sungha looks like he's being forced to play for the camera. The kid is very priveledged also has a guitar teacher and custom guitars.

  • Sungha played "Sueño en la Floresta", and he sucked!!!! He will have to keep playin fingerstyle, he is a FAIL in calssical guitar

  • (IN MY OPINION) -His notes tell stories about everyday lives. Like sitting on a bus and seeing the old people struggle on with their oversized shoppers loaded with cabbage, then out of the corner of a window a young girl with a skipping rope running back to her mum. It reminds you of little heart warming things and little life distractions, how it all comes and goes.

FOR ME- He breathes life into Life

  • I really like the sound of the syncopation at 2:07 for some reason. This is my favorite Andy song, the emotion he puts into his phrasing is so incredible!

  • cant believe how flawlessly and full of emotion Andy plays this song right on the spot for a radio station. unbelievable

  • I don't know when this was played in radio, but damn...

The people who wake up to that surely were lucky!

  • Andy n Sungha r both awsome!

  • I'm with YngwarOK95 hhahah

  • RedSonRising1 you must do it because u cant play this go f*ck yourself

  • without going to the link i already know it is sungha.....

  • lol u dissed him RasenganPwn xDDD but i know it too :D

  • Lolz yeah XP

  • this radio station is totally dirty.. lol ^_^

  • it just makes me wana play guitar more i find it inspirastional just another thing to help me to get better and it helps me chill out BIGTIME

  • This almost makes me wanna never play again, he's the man.

  • thats it i'm going to smash my guitar over my own head.

  • Yep, I know that feeling. But, it is all relative.

  • if you watch Sungha Jung play this you will really want to smash your guitar over your own head and then go jump off a cliff, the kid is 13 yrs old and he plays most of Andy Mckee's songs

  • that is skillfull for the kid to be able to play andy's song, but andy himself, puts out pure emotion, he creates this things himself, and to be able to siphon the heart into music takes something else, something new you know?

  • @rockindavid310 what kid?

  • @superdanlewis sungha jung hes a child prodigy from korea

  • @rockindavid310 Err, dude, that IS Andy Mckee playing LMAO :P

  • @MrLiamHenderson He, at the time, was talking about Sungha Jung's ability to play the song. Just a heads up :D

  • @collindean1994 oh lol, OK :)

  • @rockindavid310 +1 i would +10 if i could

  • @RedSonRising1 Imitation is the highest for of flattery!!

  • I'll like to see Sungha playing classical guitar like Agustin Barrios Mangore, to see him in another style

  • sunga jung can suck my junk

  • but can he write a song even close to as well as andy?.......no

  • @gnarCR No because he's fucking 13. Get over it.

  • @theangrycow22 I've done that before and it doesn't really go as expected.

  • @theangrycow22 If andy mckee smashed his guitar over his head it would still sound better lol

  • I love the emotion that goes into his music.

The songs he writes in other people's honour are prime examples of it

Like Rylynn, For my Father, Heather's Song

Naturally, all his music's got that extra dash of emotion in it that makes it so great to listen to

  • I love the tapping at 4:15 minutes...

  • soo cool

  • he makes it look so easy

  • excellent ce morceau !!

  • Effortlessly beautiful.

  • haha that little knock he does at 1:11 is an example of the creative subtleties he puts in his songs

  • Exactly, the more you listen to his songs the more there seems to be in the music, it's so rich!

  • i agree with you completely. I bought the album and I just used to sit on the bus and listen to it in the mornings and sleep and after a little while I started to notice little things that were easy to miss and after reading some of the reasons he wrote songs, you can almost feel the feelings better than lyrics can express them by listening to the feel and sound of the music. hes definitely one of the most creative/emotional guitarists I've ever heard.

  • Seeing him thursday 3/5/09 Cambridge Mass gonna be saweeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!!

  • Oh damn, I was there too man. Sweet show.

  • varför har vi inte sånna i sverige?

  • Det finns säkert nån okänd nånstans, som inte vågar visa sej xD

  • vi har en kille som heter Martin Tallström, helt ok faktiskt. sök på youtube

  • the great thing about this guy is that his sound is so consistent from performance of this song to performance. I mean there are some subtle difference to my untrained ear, but man, I like that's it so strong every time!

  • mindblowing!!

  • take out insurance on those fingers... the one word that comes to mind when watching him play is "effortless".

  • I like this version even more than the version in candyrats channel

  • His capo's on the 5th fret on strings 6-3, from what I believe. I tried it, it sounds pretty good.

  • I've never seen anyone capo only the the E and A string before. He's good.

  • He inspires both guitar players and non guitar players

  • And 4:15 to end, just pure magic!

  • at 1:38, so heart wrenching. You kinda want to love guitars because of this.

  • He makes it look SO easy.

  • Andy made me learn guitar two years into it now and always keep watching his videos for more inspiration.

  • Same Andy was the reason I got a guitar to learn

  • same here, andy and buckethead are my 2 big inspirations for learning the guitar

  • How can you possibly use Andy and fuckethead in the same sentence man??? That's embarrassing!

  • because i like to keep things varied, instead of doing like narrowminded fucks like you and close out other types of music, instead of keeping an open mind to things. which is propably the dumbest thing you can do, if you like music

  • The rest of us hope you never have a chance to produce offspring since you're clearly retarded.

  • because i like many different styles of music? lol, watch the the interwiev on stichtingSteelstring's channel, andy mckee even says himself that he also likes death metal and stuff.. would you call him retarded too? because he likes many different styles of music, like me?

  • Agreed !

  • andy makes me want to learn the guitar...

  • amazing song!!!!!!!!

  • He Sometimes Motivates Us To Learn The Guitar Now . The Feeling Is A Fact .

  • Very beautiful music, sir.

  • most awesome song

  • what happened to the interview part??

  • #Due South#... sorry, no it's lovely really :)

  • after listening to this, I may throw my guitar away.

  • lol...seriously

  • lol i know what you mean, but listening to this makes me want to learn it, not throw my acustic away...

  • See the iphone on the table? That's his iphone, i totally used it.

  • I wish I could turn on the radio and hear this...instead of all that other junk.

  • yea id be listen to it all day haha

  • me too

i hate how shit radio is lol (: they rli should consider a radio station for acoustic music i would actually start one if i knew how

  • Agreed. My friend does a radio show at midnight where they play old funk tunes. I mean, sure it's not my type of music, but at least it's respectable unlike this "I kissed a girl" or "souja boi" garbage. And don't even get me started on Miley Cyrus, she's lamer than her father (And he sang a song that was paramount for its lameness, Achey Breaky heart or whatever)

  • prob one of the the most beautiful songs ever made..

  • Incredible!

If i were hearing this on the radio, i would think the actual song was playing.

Andy will rule the world one day!

  • 1 venue at a time....

  • it aint a taylor its a lowden

  • ive never played one but hearing him and don ross play those things is amazing. i think the song that exhibits the tonal fantasticness :-) of the lowden most is don ross' rockbarra

  • this version is so nice

  • what a man..what a song

  • nah not a man. a legend :]. so the correct saying would be: what a Legend.

  • Well Im not sure, but I would say its McCollum or AndrewWhite guitar...thats what he is using usually...

  • anyone know what sort of guitar he's using in this?

i'm pretty sure its not a stonebridge

  • super clean on this one Andy..

  • Stay happy, and create more of this nice music

  • HOLYHORSEFUCK! amazing.............

  • amazing, he is indescribable good

  • amazing, he is indescribable good

  • amazing, he is indescribable good

  • This song is pure magic

  • ahh such a cool dude!

  • So effortless.....smooth........

  • pretty cool. eh?

  • drewtang77 - thank you so much for this man. you're a fucking ledge.
