i'm a 75 mnk and i personally rather party with a drg than any other DD. Most drk dont know how to control hate, then blame the tank for not keeping it, but a drg can do huge damage then just super jump the hate away!  plus the solo capabilities puts drg on another lvl!!!

I've been getting a lot lately, well dragoons suck compared to other dd jobs, and blah blah blah, but dragoons are in my oppinion the best DD. Reason 1, is that they can LOSE their hate, aka do a 1,000+dmg penta thrust and super jump away. The second reason, is that they can solo extreamly well, i soloed 200+ colibri outside whitegate at 64 without resting due to refresh sig. And once you obtain Magnetic earring 3% of dmg taken goes to mp, and ull be getting for like 100, so thats 3 mp per hit

Technically, which DD is "best" varies from enemy to enemy, and yes, everyone will acknowledge that, post Aht Uhrgan, DRG is pretty good. But making fun of DRG is a FFXI tradition now. It's like the saying goes... "Life is like a Dragoon, no matter how much time and money you put into it, it still suck." lol

I'm Sure my Dragoon can out DD you anyday of the week doesnt matter if you are Samurai or Dark Knight xD. i do 2.5 - 3k Penta Thrust. average on Genbu I would love to see you beat that.
