lust lust lust lust lust, sin sin sin sin sin. gayness is lust love for flesh it is 'the same thing.' if not, correct me now, or forever hold your peace. Amen.
No... why do you assume love and lust are the same thing? I'm sorry if you grew up and your parents lusted after you. But there is a huge difference between lust and love in relationships. Just because someone is gay does not mean that they do not have it in them to love.
Just because someone has gay tendencies does not mean that they are justified in acting deviant. Being gay is one thing, behaving homosexually is quite another! And certainly, blaming society or insisting that society cater to deviancy is abominable and destroys the moral integrity of it.
How are gay people deviant Hemaun? What evidence can you offer, other than religious text or propaganda?
Sheep, giraffes, bottle-nose dolphins, killer whales, Japanese macaques, and bonobos are all animals that practice homosexuality. (Bonobos are noted for being very like humans) Some form long-lasting pairs, others just have sexual contact with each other. How can you say this behavior is deviant in humans if its so well-documented elsewhere in the animal kingdom?
Gay people aren't deviant. Homosexual behavior is deviant. Obviously you don't want to acknowledge a gay person that refuses to behave homosexually, but they exist and there are many. I believe gays exist for a noble purpose, maybe even sacred purposes, but the world has enlarged the idea that a gay person is a homosexual so much that the righteous and noble purposes of gays has long been replaced with the despicable behavior of homosexuality, and the fight to justify it as such as well!
Why do we share 99% of the same genetic code with chimpanzees? Why is a human embryo indistinguishable from that of any other mammal, until it reaches a certain stage of development?
We're definitely made from the same "stuff" as animals. We differ from them in a lot of ways, sure, but we're basically just the most intelligent mammal.
I must disagree with your view on homosexuality. Even without any scripture or research, don't you think if God didn't have anything against homosexuality He would have made it possible for two women or two men to have a child for themselves? Even if you take a different view on the scripture, don't you think if it were meant to be it would work? Forgive the symbolism, but a plug and a plug wont get electricity. And two sockets are across the room from eachother. But a plug & socket: that works.
That assumes that the only purpose for any relationship is sex... and that specifically sex so as to produce offspring. Which I do not agree is the purpose. We were given the command to take care of the Earth... so lesbians and gay men cannot have a child come from their sexual relationship, That does not mean that they can not care for children who otherwise have no parents.
In addition to what NoWalls has said, I wanted to mention that you yourself have said "without any scripture or research" -- so you're admitting that this is just your opinion. Whether you realize it or not, your opinions are at least partly influenced by the Bible.
Also, there is legit documentation out there of homosexuality arising in the animal kingdom as a response to overpopulation. Humans are nothing if not overpopulated right now.
Oh, and by the way, gay people can and often do have children... they have children with past partners, adopted children, children through surrogacy/artificial insemination JUST LIKE many straight couples do!
I don't mean to attack you. But I do think that what you've said could be very hurtful to gay people. NoWalls put herself out there to educate people, so I'm sure she expects those comments, but it doesn't mean others might not be hurt by it, but I don't think that's your intent, is it?
It's never my intent to hurt anyone. I don't curse or use hurtful names or bash anyone when I speak, as far as I know. But if saying what I believe is going to contradict and hurt feelings, well, sorry. That really sucks.
So, no, it's never intentional but it happens. I appologize if you or anyone else's feelings were hurt.
I know you weren't trying to be hurtful. If I thought you were, I really wouldn't have bothered saying anything to you. :)
Personally, I'm not gay, but someone very close to me is, and I know that this person went through a long period of trying not to be gay. She is from a family that think kinda like you "Not to hurt anyone, but we just . So, for a long time, she went through a time of trying to deny it. Trying to be someone she wasn't.
Like it or not, the word "gay" has been co-opted to mean "homosexual". To belabor this point makes one seem petty & ignorant.
"or justify acting homosexual."
On what basis? The Bible? The very educated person in the video has certainly bombedd THAT idea back to Hell.
Are you one of those people who thinks "its okay to be gay, just don't act on it"?? Gimme a break. That'd be like me telling you "its okay to WANT to sleep, just make sure you never do"!
you wrote: "Are you one of those people who thinks "its okay to be gay, just don't act on it"?? Gimme a break."

I don't believe most 'gay' people want to believe like you. I don't believe most 'gay' people are convinced of the ridiculous justifications you have accepted and now preach as if it is the matter of fact. While it is clear to me in only one response that you have directed toward me, that you have succumbed to the idea of the pretense of "homosexuality," most 'gays' resist it.
You're free to private message me or to post multiple comments. I know what you mean, as you can see I posted a few comments that were numbered on this video -- but I think if you open up a topic like this, you ought to flesh it out.
Sorry if I come on strongly about this - but I really do believe that people have the right to love whomever they choose without being degraded or hurt. Partly I think I start defending my close gay friends, even when talking in a general way with someone.
Instead of repeating myself, you are welcome to respond to my videos and comments elsewhere, and then bring them back here if you want to keep a thread going here.
Typo: "Not to hurt anyone, but we just" should say "but we just don't agree with it". Oops! :)
Ultimately, she found out that she could not change the fact that she is gay, any more than she could change her height, or the color of her skin, or anything else like that.
Now, on the other end of the spectrum, I have a gay friend who was repeatedly raped by her stepfather, growing up. It started so young that she really didn't HAVE much of a sexual identity yet.
She told me that she probably "could've gone either way"... but her experience with the rapes left her feeling (even after years of therapy) like she just couldn't be attracted to men. How sad, right? But also, (I think), how lucky that she doesn't have to live a lonely life, without ever being able to love someone!
I understand how traumatic experiences, rejection from the opposite sex and bad homelifes bring people to that conclusion, yes. I think it's very sad.
I have enjoyed/am enjoying our conversation, by the way. :)
Well good. I hope I'm not putting you on the defensive, but my attention was caught by the fact that you said your original comment was "your opinion"... You sounded like you were trying to use your common sense to figure things out. So all I wanted to do was give you some food for thought.
The first person in my life that I mentioned had a WONDERFUL childhood - married parents with 6-figure incomes, great neighborhood, no exposure to abuse (that she admits at this time).
But something about her never seemed right. I've known her her entire life, & there were just some things that didn't make sense. When she came out to me, it was one of those moments where you just go "Aha! That's it! That's what it is!" Behaviors & moments from her whole life, age 5 to age 18, suddenly made sense and I began to see her as a whole person.
Personally, I can't understand how that could BE a bad thing, you know?
I mean, like, the Judeo-Christian God is real. Objectively, as in its true whether you believe or not, and, conversely, that other gods that people believe in are NOT real, whether you believe in them or not. As a kid in parochial school, that is how it was explained to me, basically.
Yeah, I see what you're saying. I didn't mean to get too off-topic on you. :)
I think what you're doing is wonderful, because, whether people are Christian or not, if they're living in Western society, their opinions are probably at least partly informed by Christianity. So I think its very important to understand how the bible has been changed & twisted throughout history, in order to understand ourselves & each other better. :)
Lol, it's not Adam and Steve, it's Amanda and Eve! Hehe. I love you're videos, you always seem so educated and always know what you're talking about. :)
