You cannot, can... not.. find a better video on how to carve a turkey. Just follow Ray's instructions to the letter and you will AMAZE your guests. I guarantee that they will be in awe of how well a turkey can be carved, rather than the massacre hack job most people "perform" while 'carving' at the table. Thanks, Ray!!
This method is 100% perfect. Simple and easy explanation and people will eat all the turkey. He is absolutely corrrect that if you slice up the dark meat people will eat it. THANK YOU RAY!
Thanksgiving and all of its accompanying traditions began as a pagan feast, honoring Pagan agricultural gods, which dates back thousands of years. A goose used to be the main course for the Pagan harvest festivals .These birds representing the sun god and was replaced by the more common turkey in America.
The Pilgrims observed a Three Day thanksgiving in the fall of 1621,this was the same way , Pagan Rome celebrated there Pagan goddess Ceres in Rome and Athens
to anyone wondering why it's harder for them, it's not just because this guy's probably done hundreds of birds, but rather, he's using a cold bird.. thus why it's dry, and his knives.. two of them.. one is a flexible blade boning/fillet knife, the other one is a curved slicer... both so much better then uncle bob's old electric knife.. LoL
worked very well just now :)

I used this method during Thanksgiving and Christmas 2007 and it worked very well. It is as easy as it looks. Highly recommended.
