Hi trukloadentdj, I wanted to know how I can fix my voice, since it doesn't match the music, like my voice is delayed a little bit, compared to the music? I've tried a few things, but nothing seems to work. If you can help me, I'd appreciate it a lot!
@MsUguu I would listen to some professional voice overs that are matched with the music and maybe try talking in short phrases, you know like short sentences. I don't know the exact way of doing it because it is something out of my knowledge range. But I personally would try these myself, sorry I could not help any further.
Yes, Windows Movie Maker is great and works awesome. Windoze 7 now ships with "Live" Movie maker which is an absolute piece of shit....just as you would expect another one of their "Live" offerings to be.
@meman45 Wow, I still using Windows XP, have not upgraded to Windows 7 yet. It will probably be some time before I do, Windows XP does the task for my work.
Is Windows Movie Maker different that Windows Live Movie Maker? Because the one I have has a different interface than this. I used to use sony Vegas 9 but then it started freezing so I had to start using this.
Hey thanks so much for sharing this great tutorial. This is what I used to figure this out on the my latest cover video called, 'Try Again.' It's the first time I have synced my multitrack recording from my computer to the video! I really appreciate your detailed and informative video. Great job.
@sexton610 You are very welcome, just doing my part to share information with people in order that we are helping one another if we can. Thanks again!
@sara505sings Glad to know, I do apologize for not getting back to you in a timely matter! Again I'm glad to hear that you figured it out and glad to know the video was helpful!
Good tute - I'm wondering, though, how to nudge the audio track when it only needs to go a tiny smidgeon. It goes too far every time I nudge, can't quite line it up. Any way to fine tune?
@trukloadentdj I guess.. have you upgraded to win7 yet? If so could you please make a tutorial to sync music with gunshots in CoD like here -> /watch?v=rkDaB70Uk8Q&feature=channel_video_title I really want to know how to do something like this it looks really cool. Thanks.
Very good......... I did a video but instead of nudging it I added photos in the begining until it got on sync by trial and error...........I should have watched your video
I'm not able to save my WMM video on harddrive. I'm triming movie scenes using RealPlayer, saving pics then importing those pics to my timeline. I have plenty of harddrive space. Audio is recorded from Youtube using Mozilla Download Helper and imported, but I can't seem to sync it. Thanks for the info.
@marlarice I would check the format of the video file you're trying to save. Some files cannot be saved in a particular format, they may have to be converted to a acceptable file.
As far as syncing, you have to record the audio and video at the same time in oder to get them to sync. If you're just using pictures and music, you can stretch or shrink the picture frames to match the beat. It may be time consuming, but the finished product will be worth it. Hope this helps.
@MrGlassback No problem on help, that's what we are supposed to do. I really appreciate you taking time out to let me know that the videos are useful and helpful. Just doing my part, besides that I having some fun too, lol!
Thanks, which version of Windows Movie Maker is this? The version that I have is called "Live Windows Movie Maker" and it does not look like the version that you have. I have Windows 7 by the way. Thanks, Robert Fonteno
@rhythm61067 Windows Movie Maker for Windows XP Professional. It came with the "XP" package, still like using windows xp because to me it's a tried and true, mostly all the bugs have been worked out and it's easy to get drivers for xp.
@trukloadentdj Thank you for taking the time to answer my question. Yeah, I still believe that "Windows XP" is still the best operating Windows program to this day. R. Fonteno

Hurray - I figured it out - it's the nudge tool, under "clip." It moves the clip an infinitesimal distance, so I was able to fine tune. :-) :-) :-)
