Wait...if Taylor is gay, why is he singing "many a GIRL had let me court HER?"
Besides, just because his band is playing in a gay bar doesn't mean that he's gay. Half the bartenders and 3/4 of the busboys in NYC's bar scene are straight, fercryingoutloud.
Wow, this whole story "arc" just keeps developing. This one is cute, but a little bit sad too. He's giving the girl fatherly advice: Taylor is gay; find someone else! Awwww. Poor "Lindsay" [Kristen!].
my sister says that someone should write a song from the viewpoint of a boy who likes her from afar who sees all this happen at Starbucks. His refrain could be "I love her, I love her, I love her..." interesting thought. He could be the one who "gets the girl"...course, I like the trilogy...we'll see what happens...I guess stay tuned...
This is hilarious and genius, very well done :) It really feels like it's following on from Taylor's Response, which in turn follows after Taylor the Latte Boy. Wonder what the next response song will be? :P
Wonderful! I saw Kristin Chenoweth sing the original song in Oklahoma City last weekend. Onstage, the orchestra conductor warned her that there were many "responses" on YouTube. She was amazed and said she would check them out. I hope she finds this one. In fact, I think I'll email her the link. Well done.
Loving a guy can cause elation,
But make sure you've figured out their orientation!
