  • she's gorgeous! only maybe a few things; like not flapping the wrists, and perhaps wearing her ballet belt on her waist instead of her hip. but i mean...she's fantastic! beautiful lines!

  • Your arms are too high!

    Well you dance

  • you were clara in nutcracker?

  • You are SOOOO graceful! Keep up the good work! =D

  • her attitude on pointe, her foot is alittle akward butttt heck this is 15x better than i can dooooo sooooo wonderfulll for your age!

  • @2dancingfreaks Her foot in attitude is 'winging.' It is a position that is supposed to make the line of an attitude or arabesque look nicer, though I personally don't like it.

  • so graceful! tall & slim! very graceful to watch.

  • Comment removed

  • she has a beautiful ballet physique (:

  • How tall is she?

  • lovley pointe work :)

  • I wonder how tall she is...I've been turned down a lot by ballet people for being tall

  • beautiiful dancer, looks like she's floating

  • She could move a bit faster.

  • her grande jete in the nutcracker was just breathtaking. not my favourite dancer, but amazing nonetheless.

  • Are you all crazy? This girl doesn't keep her hips square on her arabesques and doesn't support her elbows. I had to shut it off because it was too disgusting.

  • your smile at the begining was so cheesey. just like smiling while dancing, i dont get it.....

  • She's so thin O__O

  • very nice girl with good proportions

  • B-E-A-UTIFUL! Are you a left turner?

  • I want her legs and feet.... And pretty much everything else! She's gorgeous!!

  • She's very good :D she just needs to smile while she's dancing.

  • really good, but why is she wearing her waistband on her hips?

  • @cookiewar

    For hip placement?

  • @thefourandonly1 shouldn't it be on her waist, though? Might be wrong, just wondering

  • you guys are jealous :) i'd kill to have her body!

  • people should not be so critical. It is beautiful.

  • the technique is clearly good. but it seems like she's thinking too much about making each step perfect, she's forgetting about putting them all together and letting them really flow. So it seems a little bit forced.

    Just a personal opinion;)

  • Gorgeous!

  • where is she now???

  • She seemed skinny to me....

  • Why is everyone being so negative about this girl? She's gorgeous and her technique is spotless.

  • very good left side pirouettes!!! i spin on that side too!!!

  • i just thought that technique, BRILLIANT! but horribly stiff, she should try move arms a lil more, be graceful imagine your self in the sotry and get sucked into the artificial world!

  • what is the second song??

  • good but you need to think about more then the steps, put something behind it. Lovely arms, and wonderfull technique, but really work on the emotions behind the movements

  • AAAAAAHHHHH! STOP looking in the mirror! You are beautiful and should already know that! Pay attention to your imagined environment. Make a story. DO SOMETHING BEYOND CHECKING YOURSELF OUT! Maybe THEN, you won't look complacent, bored, and glazed over on stage! Your gorgeous darling, work it, FEEL IT!

  • no way. i think it is disguisting that dancers think that healthy fat is bad. are you kidding me? that does NOT make u a better dancer to be skin and bones. it is a human necessity. it makes you actually a better dancer to have a healthy body and it gives you energy and makes you look like a normal person.

  • Actually she could even stand to lose a little bit of deposit in her seat. And pull up that waistband! Nice legs but the bottom and upper chest are a bit extra.

  • @balletomain um your out of your mind if you think that girl needs to loose anything!

  • @balletomain gosh your version of a ballerina must be inorexic. she doesn't have to be that skinny. she looks very healthy

  • great technique. Some healthy body fat will help you with gaining more muscle for more drive and "oomf" in your dancing.

  • extensions are beautiful

  • She is a little tense in the neck, but she is amazing! =)

  • She is naturally like that. I have that body type too, it's hard to gain muscle or any weight at all. She's fine- leave her alone!

  • That girls BMI is definitely under 18.5! I'm not saying she's too skinny because in actuality I think she's quit pretty but if you're going to make an argument based on BMI you've got to know a little more about it. 18 as a BMI would constitute the largest of the female professional ballet dancers. The average Russian dancer hovers around 14. She looks much closer to the Russian standard to me.

  • great technique but no emotion

  • she looks anorexia

  • she is too skinny. her thinness is distracting and not in a good way

  • did u get the job

  • Great technique.

    It needs heart. :)

  • muito perfeita

  • Wonderful extension and technique. But absolutely no feeling or emotion behind it.

  • @TwiHardGirl hmm when you have anorexia it takes away all your emotions, you know.... not saying that she has it

  • you have everything... the body, the technique, the artristy.... so beautiful!!

    Did you get the job??

  • wow your perfect

  • as it is called the song that sounds at minute 3:47

which goes the other dancer tell me please

  • Bravo :)

  • Love your arms, girl!! But...hey, go for it! Playing safe is not good in dancing - smiling and head movements are allowed, too :) Good luck to you!

  • her legs aren't legs of a ballerina

  • I like her body and technics, but she needs more profundity and expressiveness. More dancin like an artrist! That´s more important than the body i think...

  • no body likes a fat dancer

  • @thedreamernyc

Yeah, for a dancer fat is a big problem. She is 17 years old, so her body is normal for a ballerina in her age and if she gets more and more experiences in her life, maybe someday she will be a very good dancer! In her age dancin looks often a little bit innocent.

  • @thedreamernyc

in ballet you may right! But in jazz dance it´s more nice too have a booty ;)

  • it's almost like she just hits a wall in every position... she needs to really use all the music and take time to finish the positions....

  • Really lovely work here, well done.

For me it was spoiled by your waist elastic not being worn on your waist as it breaks up your line!

However like I said, really lovely work. Hope you got a job.

  • What a beautiful arabesque :]

  • she lloks like she gonna break she loook so skinny and fragile .. i love they way she dances but she kinda scares me .. its just a comment k

  • @ivonne48797 really she's not so skinny. About 2 years ago I watched a video with my best friend where a ballerina was dancing a part of Swan Lake and she was even thinner than this girl (if you didn't understand something because I made some mistakes, don't worry 'cause I come from Italy)

  • wheres she working now

  • she's reeeeeally good.

  • did she get the job in the end? it would be such a pity if she didnt i mean anyone would kill for her techniques! wonderful! bravo! :)

  • Amazing techniques from leg to waist-line. But if there were more expressions, it would give a greater dynamic to her performance. Avoid looking into the mirror too. Look out beyond your eyeline. Nevertheless, well done!

  • what? too underweight? What are you all people smoking? You must either be living around overweight people for too long, or just you are the overweight person who is jealous of a completely normal, and fabulously looking woman!

btw, although bmi 18-25 is the normal range, most BMI are clustered in 18-19.5 If you are not over 50 years old, then you should never even be above BMI 23 (LET ALONE OVER 25). It is more healthy to be at 18, than at 24. This beautiful Lara is perfect! prolly bmi 18.5ish

  • Amazing extension! i loved every second of it! maybe a little more emotion in the face and other than that it was beautiful!

  • where did you train in sd?

  • :O i love the leotard and shes so amazing!

  • too skinny! she looks unhealthy, even for a ballet dancer

  • @srosie10 unfortunately theres no such thing as too skinny in ballet....

  • did she get in?

  • i don't mean to be critical. this is just a general observation. some dancers have great technique but are not a joy to watch. there are a few dancers who have poor technique but are a great pleasure to watch. there are even less dancers who have both great technique and artistry. those are the gems.

  • beautiful:D

  • she watches herself in the mirror too much

  • shes really good! and about the waist band being too low, everyone needs there waist band in a different spot, wherever you have the most trouble holding your stomach in thats where the waist band should be

  • she amazing but her waist band is a bit low down it basically on her hips instead of her waist .

  • Amazing! She has a beautiful body!!

  • She's NOT underweight....just look at that muscle tone!!! She's a mean, lean, dancin' machine!!

  • @lilyphx she can be underweight whilst having muscle tone , although I think she is naturally that way. the dieters tend to have gaunt faces :)

  • She could use some power..... or a changement that is more than an inch off the ground.

  • How old was she in the Nutcracker video?

  • awesome!

  • I. am. jealous.

  • im just saying, the turnout could use some work in some places. other then that, not bad.

  • is your turnout better? You prob don't even dance ballet

  • Wow!! awesome!

    Keep up the amazing job!

    5 stars

  • que bonito baila n_n

  • that is really really beautiful....i do ballet and i practice every day and i'v been doing t for 8yrs... i'd luv to be able 2 do dat..

  • beautiful! shes not underweight at all! she looks completely healthy! she is probably just naturally like that

  • sorry, but this isnt really healthy!!! thats too skinny, look at her shoulders!!! -anyway beautiful dancing...

  • @kellykballerina then you have a distorted image because she is underweight,... clearly.

but she probably is just naturally like that.

  • @balletgirl212 well.. i wouldnt say that :/ some people are built really tall & petite sometimes

  • She trained at my old studio. This was filmed a while ago, cause now she has already danced with ABT.

  • she is absolutely wonderful!! she's scarry skinny though!! it's almost hard to look at her...but she's a wonderful dancer...just needs to eat something.

  • your amazing!! where did you get your leotard?

  • part of the Paquita music hurt my ears.

But you really are good. I liked your video.

  • Don't listen to anyone saying you are stiff and underweight, I thought te opposite it was a pleasure watching you not stuff at all, and you re thin, but it's fine. You got the job didn't you?:)

  • I am amazed that some people found this emotionless and stiff. She gave her dancing exactly the right air of love and utter commitment

  • Beautiful, don´t forget that this dancer is still very young and has just begun her career as a performer.

  • very good, but a bit stiff and severely underweight for your height. But excellent technique and perfect forms. You know your stuff and you are very good at it. Just loosen up, give more feeling to it and put on a bit of weight. Cruse Balanchien for wanting skinny ballerinas.

  • Amazing!! IS it just me though or is the piquita variation a bit comical?? Makes me giggle anyway :) x

  • Simply stunning. Beautiful technique, beautiful dancer!

  • it looks like youve been emproving : ) try dancing on a room full of padded carpet - will help break in shoes better ( : Good luck : )

  • i cannot enjoy your dancing, because you look sick and strongly underweigt. you don't impersonate beauty and grace, i'm sorry...

  • I think it was stiff. Like it was GOOD but it had no feeling to it...A ballerina truly looks graceful when she gives feeling to her routine. Just my opinion, but other than that it was good.

  • I agree, especially in the Paquita variation.

  • @seximexi210 you read my mind!

  • @seximexi210

    i think your right on!

  • @seximexi210

    i think your right on

i don't think it would hurt her to gain some more weight though.

  • @seximexi210

    i think your right on

i don't think it would hurt her to gain some more weight though.

and, she is kind of boring to watch. needs to work in her technique facially .

  • lovely

  • i wonder how tall this beautiful girl is, she is stunning.

  • in her attitude turns she isn't in arabesque. she is in a really bad second. nevertheless, she is lovely. but not professional yet.

  • she's lovely but something is missing. she has a certain lack of expression

  • Great technique, pretty face, great equipment. But I think she verges on looking anorexic frankly... still,SO beautiful!

  • Better than over weight.

  • well duh

  • no, she has a dancers body.

not to mention, it's unfair to penalize someone for being "too skinny"

its just her body type, and she's a dancer, this is what ballerinas look like.

  • If she wants to work professionally in ballet in NYC, her body type is just about right.

  • Trust me I SHOULD KNOW!!!!!!! I am a dancer. I know dancers. I don't need to be criticized for having an opinion (and a lot of experience around dancers and their body types). I think she is beautiful. I also happen to have the opinion that it would be dandy and would look more athletic/solid if she gained 2 pounds THAT'S ALL!

  • mavupame and takilla2 she got the job it is so in the info

  • why is here ballet belt on her hips? just wondering :P but man shes amazing! And her legs go on forever!

  • i want to be a ballerina, but i'm sixteen, my weight is 70kg for 1m75, d you think i have any chances?

  • not really.

  • Did she get the job!??

  • love her arms!! ^^

but I think she needs more extension..don't like her knees in the piqué arabesque.

but she has a great tecnique...

  • Did she get the job?!

  • i have the same shoes too!

  • Comment removed

  • very beautiful & very strong.

    all the best to her!

  • Geez You rock!!! This is real visual feast...thanks for uploading

  • What a Ballerina BABE.....(KNOCKOUT!)

  • wow so very graceful

    lovely tecnique

  • Very nice,,,,,,wonderful tecnique ,very nice lines. I think a bit more extension is needed but thats just my opinion. Arms are great and you seem to flow along from one thing to the next.

As far as feeling it goes,,,,,,,,,well in studio one tends to concentrate and we forget about it. On stage it was hard to tell her expression as her face was not clear.

Would love to see more of this extrodinary young woman

  • soooooooooooooo pretty! I love your arms so much!!!! Every movement seems to flow into the next...gorgeous!!!

  • ha that was great love your shoes i have the same but there black

  • what is the name of the music used for the paquita variation???

  • i have this music at my studio. lol.. omg she is sooo good! i love her wltz turns....

  • Is she the one with ABT now?

  • your dancing is great! and i think your arms are beautiful, not all over the place as someone earlier commented. I;m aure you've improved a lot since the vid was uploaded, so please post more vids of you dancing:D

  • wow :)

how do i get my feet to point like yours!! my arch is very low, is there anyway to train my feet to arch more?

  • stretching them using a theraband...

  • My feet our just like yours :) Just do lots of rises on demi pointe. An sit down and go through your feet... many times a day. This helped me a bit :) Hope this helps

  • roll your feet over cans, LOTS. check out my vids x

  • Lovely!!! I would love to see you do the Dying Swan. You've got the body for it.

  • i like you!

  • goosh,everything is so perfect!

  • Fantastic..Dance like a pro..

  • she is a professional...

  • She's really good! I like watching her. But she is very thin (on the edge I think) :O

  • szilfid

  • jeeze!!! way too skinny! ure technique is pretty adequate, but ure arms are all over the place!!! and u have to use ure turn out!!! especially if u wanna get a job in New York

  • she already got that job...

  • her bourees are fabulous!

  • omg i use this music in my classes!

  • i liked the paquita part best

  • beautttiful

  • pretty =)

  • stunning, how tall is this dancer?

  • where does she dance now?

  • i start pointe monday.. anytips?

  • tape your toes

  • ???

  • have you used a theraband before??? if not its time to start!

  • beautiful

    ;-D

  • gorgeous lines. love how lengthy everything is on this girl.
