  • now i see how this song only has 1 dislike...and you know that 1 dislike is a person who likes the song and was just trollin.

  • First listen. Way overdue. I've heard great things about this band.

  • the only way i can explain this music is...chemist has great idea, but has no idea how to create it. So he takes a little bit of whatever that green stuff is and pours it into that purple chunky stuff. looks to see if anyone is around...dips his dick in it and smiles. AND IT WASA DUH BEST!!!!

  • I can't believe a Biffy Clyro fan has posted a Battles video. How perverse is that?

Biffy Clyro- the musical equivalent of woodchip wallpaper.

  • @Donkeyshed681 Biffy Clyro may not be as technical as Battles in any shape or form, but they still a hella good band. But i made this account when i was going through a phase of loving Biffy Clyro, im older and more wise I love all sorts now dont be hatin

  • @Donkeyshed681 clueless sack

  • 4:18 best drum fill ever

  • @zedascouves78 Wow, that's a pretty cool fill that I otherwise would not have noticed. Thank you.

  • Mathematical Musical Majicians

  • why did i click on this?! i seriously don't know why?!

  • I think a show with The Mars Volta and Battles would be perfect

  • there, i removed it so STFU fuckers!

  • Firstly, this band has nothing to do with countries.. second, how about the UK was probably not the start of civilization.. could we just leave it at that and shut the fuck up about all that nonsense?

  • Why does that matter dude

  • Comment removed

  • @Demonsword92 Is this some sort of joke? The dude is Anthony Braxton's son, one of the greatest AMERICAN free jazz musicians who ever lived. Country doesn't matter xenophobe.

  • @Demonsword92

Okay British shows? Not at all the topic here. And how can you say it does to "yanks" like us when you immediately wrote off Battles because of their nationality? You understand you're coming off as a cockney hypocrite right now? Now I'll say this as my final peace because people are always too hostile on the internet to even bother, and a fight over music on youtube means that I have truly descended the ladder into a bored abyss. So good day sir.

  • @Demonsword92 America: 1. Everywhere Else: 0.

  • @Demonsword92 I am a troll. I won.

  • @Demonsword92 You say "WE" like you have anything to do with Britain's accomplishments. You're just another immature faggot arguing over nationalities. Who cares, music is a global business. Get over yourself.

  • @Demonsword92 You're a towel.

  • @Theblob516 haha wtf? you're a degenerate. how about a nice cup of shut the fuck up?

  • @Demonsword92 I go to Cambridge. You're the degenerate.

  • @Theblob516

Comic Book Guy: Best comeback Evar!

  • @Theblob516 hahahhaa

  • @Demonsword92

I agree with some of that, but the 'if it wasn't for us part you wouldn't exist' part doesn't make sense...the British supressed American freedom (hence the start of the american revolution).

  • @Demonsword92

    America; Founded by Americans.

File under: Needs to learn English and history.

I guess the natives who lived here already didn't count for "finding America"?

OH! have you guys heard of Battles? They are pretty awesome

  • Comment removed

  • @bridge7885 you can't really "find" a place if you're already there can you

  • @Theblob516 also judging by ur name, ur probably just some fat cunt who lives with his mother, so get off your high horse please

  • PNEUMONOULTRAMICROSCOPICSILICOVOLCANOCONIOSIS (also spelled PNEUMONOULTRAMICROSCOPICSILICOVOLCANOKONIOSIS) = a lung disease caused by breathing in particles of siliceous volcanic dust.

This is the longest word in any English dictionary. However, it was coined by Everett Smith, the President of The National Puzzlers' League, in 1935 purely for the purpose of inventing a new "longest word". The Oxford English Dictionary described the word as factitious. Nevertheless

    fuck me

  • (\__/)

    (='.'=)

    (")_(") hey its pikachu

  • I like these sounds.

  • Rhythm conflict aside, this song is my heart right now. What an inspiration, and a fine testament to the capabilities of modern composition, especially with the use of electronics.

  • Haha! the voice sound like Ennio Morricone soundtrack of Duck, You Sucker! Great Band. hope they'll do cool stuff with one member less

  • POLYRHYTHMS!! love the usage of it in this video. CONSTANT 4/4 to 3/4 back to 4/4 timing in this song.

  • @NeonFoxLetsPlays this band seriously knows rhythm

  • @Ichvyenichalster that or they're reinventing it.

  • @NeonFoxLetsPlays thats math rock for you

  • @NeonFoxLetsPlays \

Its just in 6/8 the whole time

  • @Ddanfernandez not all of it. the drum starts playing in 4/4 at 1:31. the beginning is all in 6/8 i realize that now but it's not the only time signature used.

  • @Ddanfernandez I disagree with all when it comes to the time signatures-- the time signature, for the listener, is subjective, and only the band can say whether they intended 6/8, 4/4, 2/4, 12/8, and so on. Everyone hears the downbeats differently, and considering how densely layered the parts become, and the variety of rhythmic patterns within those layers, different perspectives are to be expected.

  • @freekydeekydutchVI You nailed it.

  • @NeonFoxLetsPlays agreed, tras part 2 by battles is a complete mindfuck when it comes to the time signatures used

  • @penguinsauce87 oh god that song is the inception of time signatures.
