He himself admitted in an interview he doesn't really do micro so well, he does micro well enough for his style. White-ra and others are so much better micro players and u can see that in army battles. He is the weakest in his korean team so I was absolutely right. Koreans are amazing at both micro and macro. Until idra fixes his micro, he can never be the best.

Still Nestea still is slightly behind Idra, like a few split seconds away from Idra's macro, but he has better micro to compensate for it. There is no way for IdrA to get into the natural or main and attack without losing his 4th and there was no way to attack HuK's 3rd which he could easily max out on. It was an easy 3rd to take as terran and toss. That's why HuK won. He was able to turtle up piss easy. Not outmacro or micro his opponent. Just sitting still and doing nothing for 10 minutes.

@jstache93 What would you have done differently? This game took place at a time when the ZvP metagame was incredibly weak, on a map that was heavily favored for Protoss. Husky has never had good knowledge of SC2, and is incredibly bias against IdrA in his casting. No one who had any idea what they were doing made Corrupters against 6+ Colossus balls, let alone with almost pure blink stalker supporting it.

@naggerNZ what I would have done differently is that I'd have taken down the rocks to that base immediately with my roach hydra composition rather than leaving them idle. He could have attacked that base before it started. Although once the base was down there was nothing he could do. HuK just had to sit still for 10 minutes.

@jstache93 Broodlords were the smart choice, but because IdrA was forced into Hydras while still on two bases, he didn't have the gas income to get enough of them to properly zone out the deathball. And since he had to constantly pressure Huks third to stop him from rolling up the ramp and killing IdrA's third, he couldn't drone enough to remax after engagements.

@JehutyFIN 1) high corruptor count means you lose because your economy will fail and you wont have a fround army so you only make about 10 tops.

2) Infestors were crap and never EVER used in those days.

3) Roach/Hydra was just very common at the time and no-one knew what would be good to beat stalker collosus on imba turtle maps like this.

4) He sacrificed the brood lords hoping to take out the stalkers and sentries so that he could waltz down and pwn the collosi. The map is just imba that way

Also, protoss units do cost money... one stalker is 125 minerals and 50 gas, and his colossi is 300 mineral 200 gas a piece.

His roaches are just 75 minerals and 25 gas, literally half of a stalker and his hydralisks are just 100 minerals and 50 gas, again still not even breaking even with his stalkers.

IdrA is just a bad player in general.

He never seems to go high on his resources and he always manages to hold timing attacks perfectly. Does that sound like a generally bad player to you?
