@deathslice60 Its more about the volume of air and soundboard size with the sound, a guitar has a bigger sound and deeper resonance. This instrument with its small body sounds nicer indoors, I will do a new variation of this soon inside.
I subscribed to you because I thought your videos were interesting and cool. But now that you've done Morrowind, you've ascended the Bifrost Bridge into stratospheric awesomeness! I've been playing the Elder Scrolls series games for over 10 years. I've dabbled with this tune on hammered dulcimer and fife. Very cool to hear it on the stick dulcimer.
Thanks! I have to confess, the music led me to the game, powerful stuff!! I actually purchased a copy to play (at some point, these things eat time itself!!) I am a retro gamer at heart in any case, the older games are more likely to work in emulation or windows mode in Linux for me!!
you are welcome!! I'm really hoping someone will do a ukulele version of this too at some point....I wish I had more time right now to do one myself!!
Very good sound Michael. Hope you are keeping busy - I have quite a few orders for my wacky creations at the moment and been booked to do a demo at a fair in a couple of weeks - need time to rehearse playing instead of building them!
Does the sound change when the body shape is different?

I thought "here goes another video game nerd recreating his favourite fantasies"
Then I watched it and realised "here goes another video game nerd recreating his favourite fantasies well"
I enjoyed it. I loved the Morrowind soundtrack, especially the tune you just played.

Looks a beautiful instrument. I have never played one. What is it tuned to, Michael?
KenMiddletonUkulele 1 year ago
thanks Ken! Its just Dad tuning, the most common tuning used, I will have a playing guide in a day or two on my website explaining this.
