The song is from Romeo & Juliet (1968) by Director Franco Zeffirelli. In a party scene (it is a masked ball) the minstrel sings this song. It is the first time that Romeo sees Juliet, the daughter of the patriarch of his families' arch enemy. While the actors were older then the characters in Shakespeare's play, they have come closet in age of any actors playing the parts. When the now famous "star crossed lovers" of two enemy families meet, forbidden love ensues. ROMEO SCORES BIG TIME!
