It appears that, in 1992, the IBM PC finally caught-up to what the Amiga 1000 was doing in 1985.
Took long enough. ;-)

@harleykman And look where Amiga is now :( (which is unfortunate -- it was a wicked platform at the time)

Amigas are still alive. Like the Mac they've moved to standard PC hardware, and also like Macs the OS is superior to windows.

Yes. Google amigaOS 4.1 for the software. You can even buy the complete hardware with the OS already installed on the drive. The cost is about the same as a new Macintosh.
