@HellsRaven4444 No, the songwriters are not the same. But COOL&CREATE, who made Locked Girl, have said that Locked Girl is inspired by Laughmaker, so it's not suprising that Locked Girl sounds like Laughmaker.

I'm fairly certain this song is about a recluse/hikkokimori, wasting away their lives in solitude, alone, when someone (the Laugh Maker) knocked on their door, and tried to show them the joy of being 'free'.

@Serpentz1 The point is that someone locked themselves in a room so they could cry, and then the "Laugh Maker" comes along to make them smile. The doors are unable to open because of the pressure made by the tears shed, so the Laugh Maker decides to break in using a pipe and finally make the crying person smile.
