i use it for skating and its great. the only thing about it is you cant use a fisheye for it. other than that its great. i like how it can take the picture during film too. you can also pause a clip you took and make it a picture. i do that alot

i just veiwed a video on u-tube of a guy selling the cg6 with the same problem of converting files!!! he uses a program caled SUOER and apparentley is free on the net!! u try it i go and by a camera!!! lol

I have just purchased this camcorder/camera but the format is MPG4 and I want to play & edit in Movie Maker but it wont allow me to.

Hi Hun, If u get a programme called Magic Video Converter it works perfectly & quickly. Everyone told me they had to be AVI's but to use in Windows MovieMaker its actually WMV's!!

I think you can get a free trial. Hope this helps :-) You can then play around add music etc in MovieMaker.

If u need anymore help let me know, as I think I have managed to suss most of it now.

The horrible little 70's pattern this girly comments on is actually the Stereo Microphone. Also do you know the difference between 40gigs of memory and the actual 40meg of memory. Quite a lot actually. At least read the manual before you do a review.

Actually, I have the same camera, and it does fit onto a Tripod very easily. As most Cameras come with the same fittings that fit onto standard tripod, I can assure you that this will fit onto one.
