  • I would say that hes bad for all these reasons but...theres too many to type in this box...literally. All I am giong to say is: He was found guilty of contempt of parliament. That's a criminal offence and an election was called in hopes that Canada could get rid of him. What the HELL have we done? Given him all the power. More Cons in the Senate and a Con. speaker of the house... I'm 16 and Layton and Harper make me worried for my future.

  • Actually Harper is right on Both accounts..!!!

  • national disgrace for two terms....go away and shut the fuck up while collecting your inflated pension for screwing us all for 8 years

  • this is soooo stupid, He is right 100% about the international trade laws, we could sue the US for not following NAFTA etc, and when he says if anything happens, we lose, he is telling the blatant facts. We would have massive economic issues if they did that, once nafta was brought in, canada had massive economic growth. This video is just pathetic

  • I encourage both Canadians and Americans to do their much belated homework about the real technocrats that control national policy.

We need to see past the "front men" of the game we call democracy and face the facts.

Harper, Obama, Bush, Mulroney, Clinton, Martin.... they all work for either the CFR or the Trilateral Commission. And if they're not directly connected to Banking industries, the CFR, Trilats, then their administration is filled with these representatives. This is nothin new..

  • You guys in Canada don't know what is in the best interest of your country. Harper is good, we'd gladly make him our President in the US if he was eligible. (he is probably more eligible than Obama, considering nobody knows where Obama was born!)

  • @JohnRhysMusician thank you, harper is an awesome PM compared to what we have, even Paul Martin wasnt bad, he wanted close ties with the US, and wanted more economic integration, he used to be our finance minister as well

  • @MrMegaWolfeman I remember PM Martin. He was a little bit corrupt and at times the Americans felt betrayed. I know as a Canadian-American living in the US, Harper is much more well thought of than Martin was. Harper even has a decent relationship with Obama, surprising given they're at odds ideologically. I notice that Canadians sometimes don't understand. They get angry about NAFTA negotiations, yet they tend to support the Democrats, who are generally opposed to NAFTA! Its the CBC effect ;)

  • @MrMegaWolfeman A corrupt, lying, criminal dictator is an awesome PM? I shudder to wonder what you think of people like Mussolini.

  • @JohnRhysMusician That's weird, most people who bother to read a little bit, know that Obama was born in Hawaii.

Oh, and Harper inherited those life-saving banking regulations, and then tried to get rid of them. He hasn't done squat for the economy, and he's a corrupt fascist to boot.

  • @BoredomCorner It's called a joke.

  • I just want Harper gone

  • I cannot believe this man would use' his dime' to reassure America of our stand in regard to their safety & security . This at a time when US policy declares our North West Passage as an International waterway ,free for any lame ass Liberian . registered oil tanker / skow to transit freely.. Is this not a threat to our safety our environment or our security? Who is this man?

I thought he was our PM? Evidently I was wrong.

  • I don't get it...In both clips, Harper is simply stating the obvious and there is no contradiction at all. The one clip merely complements the other. And by the way, Harper is actually to the political Left of Obama.

  • Yes on some policy. Generally Democrats in the US are liberal for the US, but are far more conservative than many of the conservative parties in other nations. Harper would be a moderate Republican in the US, similar to George Bush or Richard Nixon. Harper's Party is in the IDU and so is the Republican Party of America. Harper is a good PM and he could be more effective if he had a Republican Government to work with in the US.

  • We should demand better out of all the party leaders. But Harper is Prime Minister, and he should always be promoting Canada's interests. That's what he was elected to do.

  • @WeDemandBetter how exactly is he not promoting canadian interests right now? He was going against obama on the buy american thing, he was stating a fact that if they implement it, we lose economically, he has really defended the arctic etc, you are almost a simpleton for posting this

  • @MrMegaWolfeman How about merging our borders with America, and doing everything they want on nearly ever major issue?

  • @WeDemandBetter So why isn't he doing it?

  • Attn: Creator of this video...who is a better fit than Harper in your opinion? I think they are all bad!

  • But he's right, the US is more powerful. We have recourse under international trade law but having to go that far would still hurt Canada.

  • My PM, standing up for Canada.

Obama star struck Ignatieff, not ready for the job.

  • Harper drooled like a simpleton over Obama, who are you kidding.

  • Ignatieff said "I had the opportunity to learn from the master". Harper stood up to Obama on NAFTA, My PM, I am proud.

  • Harper is Republican. Scumbag, self centred, uncaring for anyone but himself, insecure, liar and he has a negative side too. Hopefully he is on the way out.
