  • IS YOUR CAMERA BEFORE THEY INVENTED REAL CAMERAS?????

  • horrible quality. You should help us all out and delete it.

  • did you record this with ur asshole?

  • the trolls hated this so much because they could even count the pixels, it was just a blur XD

  • film is crap and the silly tit riding will get hit one day

  • Did u record this with a calculator?

  • Lane splitting may be legal in L.A., but that doesn't mean it's a good idea.

  • Passing thru the lanes are legal in your country?

  • @DaMatta11 yep. its even illegal to ride side by side with another bike. We have More laws then people. :-)

  • Which pixel was the bike?

  • I ride in so-cal myself and it sucks that some of those jackass' do that on purpose.

  • Dont film using a potato ... get a real camera. :)

  • i would seriously smashed that guys MIRROR!

  • @totoybuang82 Passing between the cars are legal on your country?

  • When you are too confident, next second you are riding a wheel chair..!

  • @kukupelli: Did you used a calculator with camera in filming this video?

  • good job but the front breaks are suppose to be your main source of breaking...

    i belive 70% front 30% rear...

  • what did you record this with? A toothbrush?

  • bad quality vid. disliked

  • That's why I NEVER split lanes. I know alot of people do and that's their choice, I'm just not comfortable with it. She was obviously very aware of the risks and was able to see it coming, great save.

  • That's some good SR's right there, man. Glad she's ok.

  • i carry an air horn now,

lets see how they like it, scares them shitless haha

  • worst camera ever

  • where did u get the camera dollor store?

  • Your mom's a pro

  • stop lane splitting like a dumb ass whether its legal where you live or not and a lot of highway accidents wont happen.... dumb asses in cars who cant see dumb asses in the middle of 2 lanes = fail

  • @Ethan1993m Lane splitting is safer than getting in line. Studies have been done. That's why it's becoming more and more legal.

  • @13mordeth huh. interesting ill have to look that up.

  • that little boring stunt is routine for me here in nuevo leon, méxico.

  • crying about getting hit by a car that didn't saw you when you are lane splitting is ridiculous...

  • @pajeg lane splitting in california is legal and encouraged. it is the car drivers responsibility to check before changeing lanes as it is legal and police do it often

  • @epiphonehtm

what about the other states? ^^

police often drive at 160 km/h, it is still illegal (i know i shouldn't follow them, but they won't stop to give me a ticket)

  • No offense I don't get why braking fast is such a problem. If your in that situation you must already know your going to brake anytime at sudden of a situation happens like that, all you do is remeber to pull in that clutch, you can downshift later, i hope i dont end up eating these words

  • @CmoreBuhts i like to use the engine to help slow me down since i dont have the best rear brakes, i dont use my clutch much so i just match revs downshift and front brake lol. ride safe hopefully you didnt jinx yourself

  • @epiphonehtm I dont think im that experienced with matching my revs yet to do that, but im getting there =], and thanks ride safe too

  • when you drive like a idiot those are the chances you take!!!

  • isnt driving in the center lane illegal fucking stupid ass motorcyclists im glad there are so many fatalities fucking idiots deserve that shit

  • @azdrifter520 Yeah, woo, kill those people, they deserve to die. And who gives a shit about punctuation anyway, I'm a drifter, yeah, baby!

  • @azdrifter520 It's not illegal in CA, so your point is invalid. However you are correct when you say it's stupid. I would only lane split if traffic is under 20mph

  • res sucks on your cam dude get better camera

  • thats why i don't lane cut by the car pool entrance/exit, cuz of those idiots

  • was this filmed with a piece of shit?

  • Nice 38x24 pixels cam

  • this is why lane splitting SHOULD be illegal. I could see someone swerving to not hit ....anything...., and hearing you whine about your "rights". Get in line like everyone else and stop your crying, baby.

  • I would not only brake the mirros but hit the truck whit my boots to make a dent ....

  • @existenz55 Don't repay evil with evil.

  • which pixel was your mom?

  • Lots of things are legal that a biker who loves life shouldn't do; IMHO lane-splitting is one of them. Mom did good to avoid a collision. I can't say she failed to use her front brake, because even if she had, locking up the rear might have been unavoidable under the circumstances: she was travelling too fast through traffic. Like keeping stoping distance behind a vehicle in your lane you should be able to stop well short of ANY vehicle in proximity to you. Violate this rule - be prepred to die.

  • Comment removed

  • Your camera sucks!

  • Fucking idiot car drivers, this happens to me like 5 times a week, not to the extent of locking up the brakes though, some people shouldn't be on the road!!!

  • did you call your mom babe?

  • what did u film this with? A POTATO?

  • 1.) Idiot is NOT to exit the HOV lane where there is a yellow double line.

2.) Idiot fails to use turn signal.

3.) Why did you not get license number, sign a complaint and have the idiot tciketed?

What is dolt's license plate number? You can publish it here if accurate.

    4.) Discard your POS camera.

  • "Thats a girl doing that"...........not sexist at all are you?

  • once again if you had some loud ass pipes, most hear you coming!

  • she locked it up got lucky she didn't drop it looks like a big girl lol

  • Legal or not, incredibly dangerous and stupid to lane split.

  • I don't care if lane splitting is legal or not. You knew you were in a bad spot.

This is why riders get killed, their own stupidity. She was in a blind spot and NOT where another vehicle would be.

  • @chardwreck thats just your opion and not based on facts.

and with the blind spot, it takes 2 to tango and the driver was at fault her for not cheeking their blind spot and not even indicating for their direction

  • DAM can u have a worse camera?? cant see shit no point in this vid

  • Last weekends i drown may BMW RT and had almost two crashes just because of hot woman's on bikes. Luckily the bike has a ABS. :)

  • lane splitting is not legal in cali but cops will not pull you over for it

  • skills

  • How do you know thats a girl... bikers have long hair and at 42 seconds in that was a very manly flick off..

  • is that the real HD or Blueray???? I think I just like it.... lol

  • Handled it like a pro! Strong work. Stay safe

  • 1. your mother is a good rider with fast response time she should have hit the back of that idiots truck but she didnt she hit the brakes immediatly. 2. tell her to break the mirror off the cars when they do that that what i do use em or lose em. 3. buy a new camera man that was terrible

  • @robert18007 ahaha that guys just happned to film it.. she did not know who he was

  • No kidding. Great control, Hon. Lane splitting is legal. Yes, it's dangerous, but it's legal. You really gotta pay attention, because you can bet your life that car drivers aren't. Literally. I've already won that hand. No blinker... "Stupid" just doesn't quite cut it.

  • i hate motorcyclists for this one reason, DANG LANE SPLITTING, other than that have fun riding

  • woooooow she got luckey that time~~~!!

  • Comment removed

  • lame camera, ride safe

  • You lane split you risk getting hurt..simple as that.

  • She schould have gave him the finger !!

  • I don't have a problem with lane splitting in stopped traffic. But that's the reason I don't think it's a good idea when traffic is moving. People don't pay attention to things that are staying around them. Much less when someone is coming up in between lanes.

  • it's legal but extremely dangerous as you can see... is it legal to pass by the right in your stupid country?!!!!!

  • get a new camera and then film shit

  • Good vid but, please get a decent camera, it was like the blocky horror picture show !!

  • A girl! Holy Crap its a GIRL! A Girl!! OMG!!! Its a Girl!! I watched it twice and its still a GIRL!! A female girl!!!

    Q. Is she the only girl who rides over there in the US of A?

  • typical spic in the truck. Go figure

  • Nice riding on her part, that was a close one. The truck driver is in violation of VC 21655.8, crossing a double yellow. I always slow down or avoid splitting during the entrance/exits for the HOV lane. I also always have my on-board camera rolling.

  • Yeah I think it's much safer than lane splitting. If you are on the freeway, you must take the next exit when riding on the shoulder.

  • i would expect people would say she a reckless driver but uhh didnt happen. she is driving ok to me. looks like she only going 10-15mph faster than the traffic.

  • Nice driving by here, skilled! and a idiot driver i car.

  • I live in Washington State. If there is traffic moving slow or not at all it is ok for a person riding an AIR COOLED bike to ride on the shoulder, and those with WATER COOLING must stay in traffic unless they are with a person who is riding an air cooled machine.

  • @TheTheeggmann whaaaat!! for real? wow!

  • She is awesome. YOU GO GIRL!!!

  • yea but thats the danger that we all face with lane splitting but im glad she made it out safe and didnt panic and grap the front brake, i see people do that alot

  • what is the purpose of spliting lanes?

  • There are lots of stupid things you can do that are not illegal. Just because you are allowed to doesn't mean you should.

  • would be useful to learn to use front brake too

  • @pasifsc If she would have hit the FRONT BREAKS like she did the back breaks the front wheel would have slid sideways and then her and the bike would have been skidding on the pavement and PROBABLY UNDERNEATH SOMEBODIES WHEELS.

  • @MrTom423 Yes that is a serious possibillity. But even a light touch of front brake helps motorbike to stop much much sooner. Learning to use front brake is my point. I ment no desrespect to your mom. She cleared situation well.

  • @pasifsc No disrespect taken, THAT WASN'T MY MOM. If you pay close attention to the episode, you can see that the front brake was used. It was used appropriately in my eyes. It looked good and firm on the front break and a little too much rear brake, but still a nice recovery and tragedy avoided. (SHE SHOULD NOT SPLIT LANES LIKE THAT ANYWAY..)

    Thanks for the comment though....

  • @MrTom423 why should she not lane split, in the uk its what we are told to do when on lessons.

but certainly props to her for the great control .

  • @Mathewmartialart Dude, DID THIS EPISODE HAPPEN IN THE U.K.?

  • @pasifsc I'm sure she was on the front brakes as well, did you want her to lock up the front brakes as well or what? In a situation like that, locking up the back brake was ideal, that was a VERY close call.

  • Been riding accident free for 40 years. I never got this lane splitting thing, especially at the speed they were going. Maybe if vehicles are stopped I'd do it. As conservative as California is on most things maybe they should take a look at the other states for this. I know a lot of riders think it's a great thing to do, but then they just might be the ones under the bumper.

  • "a girl doing that man oh my god"...........Patronising arsehole.

  • Thank God she kept it under control.

  • well maybe he cut her off but she shouldn't have been riding in the middle of the lane inbetween cars like that.

  • @Geforce2187 Lane splitting is legal in California.

  • Another fucking asshole in a car thinking he`s the only one on the road.

  • Next time, flip him off with your middle finger.

  • actually that pickup truck had his right turn signal on when he started to the right over the breaker line

  • she did well to stay on did she use the front brake at all ? Thank God for a dry road !

I guess it's a Yank saying that BM's are pricey- in Blighty back when I were a lad you could pick up ex-Plod boxers for a few hundred quid....Wish I'd kept my R75/6 gute Brotwurst not rice rubbish !

  • nice reaction time and slide control, real fuckin rider right there

  • so this argument started over if that was dangerous or not?

im guessing some faggot whos 2 weeks from wrecking his brand new bike is telling you all that wouldnt make him crash??

    who cares

hell be comatose in less then a month leave it alone

  • I cannot see a passenger in the truck. If the truck is driving illegally in the carpool lane to begin with,it would seem any action he took merging out of it is also illegal. If you ever drove the 405 in commuting hours you know there are alot of lane splitting bikes that go alot faster than she was. They drive next to the carpool lane, like she was, because people usually don't cut in and out or merge much.Except this illegally driven truck.

  • Yeah I know the truck should have signaled and looked before changing lanes and he is a dumb prick for not doing so and yes I read comments that say lane splitting on a bike is legal in Cali but it still doesn't seem like a good ideal and this video shows why. They say Cali drivers are crazy drivers any ways, lol. Oh well, at least she didn't wreck.

  • @EagleTalons1

Statistically there are far more injuries in other states where the bikes are struck from behind in stop and go traffic. Sometimes not even from a car hitting them directly but one slamming into the car 2 cars behind.. and as the vehicles cascade the bike is also collected. On a bike there are no bumpers and the rider is part of the crumple zone. (grin) It's a worse idea not to split.. IMHO.

In the rain I NEVER stop behind another car.. always to the side.

  • Comment removed

  • I was just speaking to the statistics from the Hurt report and others that they do every time this comes up in legislation in California. They compare directly the number of splitting accidents involved per capita in California directly against being struck by vehicles in states where it is not legal. There is no category of accident where splitting is not seen as a benefit and all reports show that the most dangerous thing you can do on a motorcycle.. is to stop it.

  • Actually speed and forward motion is more dangerous on a bike because people don't always see something small like a bike moving tourd them and they pull out in front of the bike causing wrecks or merge with out looking. Yeah I guess to a lesser extent stopping is dangerous on a bike but usually people see what has been in front of them a little better and would know enough to stop in good time I would hope...

  • @EagleTalons1

Again.. I'm just talking statistics. When you look at the numbers, the number of riders injured from running into things is far less then the number of times they are crashed into. Just sayin. So if you go by sheer statistics, it's not a lesser extent.. it's the greater extent.

My boss, for example.. was lane sharing. The cars in front of him were too close together for him to proceed so he stopped only to be caught in a pinch when a car hit the one next to him from behind.

  • @PaleHearse I know your tring to go by statistics from other people or web reports while you try to prove a point here but you should really ride before tring to argue statistics. All the statistics in the world isn't going to make a difference if some one doesn't see me and pulls out or swerves in front of me and hits me before I have a chance to avoid it, a statistics report isn't going to come out of no where and block their car for me is it? lol

  • @EagleTalons1 I'd not make too many assumptions in that department. I started on subsized dirt bikes around age 10 and started the canyon carving when bikes got real serious in design in the early/mid 80's and then got interested in multisurface touring. I have something like half a million miles under my belt..over 300K on the big BMW GS's alone, starting with the R100 back in the early 90's. so .ah, I ride.

Statistics are what they are and they back up what I know from experience to be true.

  • @PaleHearse I'll go ahead and make that so called assumption because most people that ride don't go on youtube talking about statistics this and statistics that when it comes down to actually riding. You started out on BMW's? I mean even though BMW were sold in the u.s. most people in the states at least the 1's I know all started out on something like Harley's or Indian's or mainly a Japanese bike but a BMW? Wish I had your money or at least your parents money.

  • @EagleTalons1 First bike was a Kawasaki 90 minature dirt bike. 1976.. ish. My canion carvers were CBR 600's in the 80's.

If you read what I wrote.. after I got done with the ballistic tupperware I got into multisurface touring in the early 90's. That's where the BMW's came in... and made a home in my heart. Finest bike in the world for long distance touring.

An you ride a? And FYI.. a Harley would cost half again what I pay for and pay to maintain my GS.

  • @PaleHearse re-read your own comments because you never said anything about having other bikes before. I own a 06 Yamaha R1 now if you must know. I'm done commenting to the same person so if you want to keep commenting I guess keep going but I can't go on, lol.

  • @EagleTalons1

So BMW makes subsized dirt bikes for a 10 year old? I appreciate that the back and forth is at an end, but in the future.. do try and keep the assumptions to a minimum. My use of statistics was simply to support in fact my side of a simple argument.. rather then resorting to "feeling". Feelings are great but when the data doesn't back it up.. it doesn't back it up.

I wish you the best in your riding. Rubber down.

  • Your mom i a good driver =)

But the driver used the blinker O.0

  • good job girl

  • That chick knows how to handle a bike!

  • illegal mex in truck. looks like to me

  • USE THE FRONTBRAKE!!!!

  • even he touched the double yellow by a mm, its a mm past the limit! and just cuz u put your blinker it doesnt mean that you dont haveto yield! LOOK OVER YOUR SHOULDER!!!!!!!!! MORON!!! its the cardrivers fault... not lookin over shoulder! most people forget thier blinkers on too.... if he gave the sign early enough< then he wouldve slowed down to where the biker wouldve past him, and not cross the double yello by an inch!

  • The cardrivers fault? NOT.

  • @kascinoh u r entitled to ur opinion... So am I .. I'm not gonna start a feud... But all cage drivers think the same... When u ride .. U'll understand..

  • Just because it's legal (the lane splitting) doesn't mean, that you don't have to watch on other cars. look close to that video, i know the quality sucks, but: he's giving the sign early enough. biker's fault, not the cardrivers one.

  • A thourogh head stomping required, also I would have inserted the turnsignal lever from the truck into that guys ass so he will never forget to use it again.

Fuck cars (and no i dont have one)

  • I would follow that guy to a stop so we could chat about watching the F out.

    Impressive riding skills.

Offthericta - you were driving the truck weren't you? watch the video again idiot.

  • so gay in so many ways

  • You guys are stupid. Anything that happens to you while lane-splitting is your fault legal or not.

  • Awesome mad skills!! locked up and still leaning out of danger...very impressive. yeh, thats a hairy stretch. i ride it some. most cagers dont have sense. dam near same thing happened to me out there. makes me so mad. Yer awesome loretta. keep the shiny side up.

  • is lane splitting legal in all California? i live in the North Bay and i'd like to know if i can do it too... if you know, let me know..

  • yes it is legal in all of cali.

  • Comment removed

  • @kukupelli

she shouldnt of been trying to split the lane there tho cuz it was starting to be a double yellow line there which you cant split people are gunna be getting over to the right at that point if theyre not carpool. the guy was riding in the carpool lane illegal to start off with tho

  • Lane splitting is legal in California....but very dangerous, specially on the freeway like that. The only time I lane split is if im rolling up to a stop light when its red

  • @slammer800 Do they call is a freeway because at one point there was no speed limit? or you didn't have to pay to drive on? We call our road the arseway because our country ownes most of the tarmac. This accident looked fatal towards the begining, the bike must need new tyres?

  • No idea.

  • thanks

  • @knutfheifer they call it freeway because there are no traffic lights and no stop signs as there are in a street. and yeah, there has always been a speed limit and you pay to be in them in the form of tax to the DMV or Federal Tax.

  • Thats about all i do also, but also in slow traffic, it depends on which bike i ride

  • @alan838 Is crossing a solid line legal for fuck sake, I dont think thats legal anywhere in the world so if you do start lane splitting watch out for vehicles that dont know your there until theve killed you, good luck

  • @2wheelsteve chill out dude,, get some relaxing pills...

  • @Freakorcycle Yeah your right mate, feeling like shit with the cold (flu) and supposed to go for a ride in a bit but gonna call off, ride safe

  • @alan838 Yes, lane SHARING, as it's actually called , is legal in California.

  • @alan838 ya i lived in nor cal and have been riding bikes for years. its totally legal, and a motorcycle in car pool is legal too

  • why sis that guy switch lanes anyways??? the carpool lane was mooving faster..

  • Splitting traffic with little room to spare, tailgating and locking up the rear wheel is great control? I thought that was an attempt at donating organs. I guess I have been wrong all these years.

  • @aligerous

She's lane sharing.. so simply put, there was no one in front of her for 20 miles and thus no "tailgating". The truck came across a no entrance/exit zone and she did a great job of killing her speed, keeping it pointed straight and not stalling the bike.

This, on a heavy cruiser type bike with no ABS.. so .. ah.. yes.. great control.

  • @aligerous You obviously don't ride. Anyone who knows anything about bikes would say that was an awesome save. Unfortunately for fellow riders, I'd have to say that the majority of us, placed in that exact position would eat it. Btw, totally the cager's fault. Check your blindspot before changing lanes, period. You must yield to approaching traffic, and provide them "reasonalbe" opportunity to avoid a collision.

  • @AverageJoeHD Obviously? I earned a living doing it. I'm guessing that counts for something. I also ride my own sweetly customized 1990 HD Springer. I recognize the "cager" as being wrong. However, I see the rider as not taking measures to be as safe as she could be in traffic and not braking effectively. Locking up the rear is the mark of an inexperienced rider in a panic and increases the stopping distance quite a bit.

  • Damn that girl held that shit down. Great reaction time and nice job not locking the front tire.

  • the bike must not take the middle line and pass threw all cars. You are smaller in size we know but if you want to skip traffic you risk..And its always the one that comes from the back who gets the blame.

  • christofer128 in ENGLAND we call doing that FILTERING and it is NOT illegal.

  • not only that but it would have been the car drivers fault in ENGLAND because it would be called UNDERTAKING which IS illegal

  • @offthericta - that was double yellow. and usually bikers who love their families, like the lady here, pay attention.

  • She pulled out to overtake, from he same lane, without indicating! How does anyone say this the cars fault.

Sure... not the best driving, but I rest my case as far as bikers being one eyed. Poor driving on her behalf. Good save? Maybe, but bad driving in the 2 seconds leading up to it from the biker, as she moves up behind him, in his blind spot, then tries to pull out without indicating.

  • @offthericta well technically she didnt pull out cus she stayed in between the lines where as the truck crossed the double yellow to change lanes. y would the biker signal? shes not changing lanes and there is no signal made for lane splitting. besides no1 would c that signal. bottom line the trunk should have signaled and checked and also shouldnt have crossed the double solid yellows.

  • Truck did not cross double yellow. Only a tiny bit of the truck touched double yellow. As stated by many others hear: legal or not, this is poor bike riding if you care about your own life.

  • truck started pulling out before it was solid and had his turn signal on too.

both of them could have payed a little more attention to traffic, regardless this guys mom is awesome!

  • what a save!! nice one babe...u can tell is a girl, cause she didnt stop and kick the cunt arse...

  • Your mother knows how to drive a motorcycle!

    Nicely done!

  • i doubt thats a woman, woman cant drive shit

  • Of course that is perfect control! , CONGRATULATIONS GIRL!, GUYS DID YOU LEARN THE LESSON EMERGENCY BRAKES.

  • BTW... pay closer attention to the lines... they are not solid when he changes lanes.

Oh thats right.. you're bikers... not big on paying attention are you.

  • @offthericta

You are wrong, bikers pay more attention.

  • illegal or not it fucking dumb shit. She was in the same lane as the truck so it is her fault for being to close the car in front.

Any thought that maybe he meant to do it?

  • Lane splitting is insane. Might as well wear black, and walk across the middle of the street at night, then become righteously angry when you almost get hit because "I'm a pedestrian! You have to yield the right away!"

These foolish bikers give us motorcyclists a bad name.

  • being a female has nothing to do with riding... females can be killed on the road just as fast as a man.

Im recovering from a motorcycle accident that left my left leg broke in 3 places, and my right foot fractured.

car cut infront of me while he was making a left turn...

  • 405 sucks! Always congested 7 days a week!

  • Over here in Blighty we call it filtering, and its not illegal, as for control she locked her rear wheel, thats not control. the pick up driver crossed a solid double yellow, he didn't look and could have knocked the rider off, Well done for staying on.
