Pardon my mentioning, it's been years since I played, but if you enjoy the Flute you might look into the French style of embouchure, like James Galway uses. I think you'll enjoy the richer tone you'll get. The American style embouchure feels a bit airy to me. Sir James has a video about proper embouchure on youtube, I think.

I play flute, but I can't do this. Also, I agree with @AmazingMagicPenguin about the Ab key. You need to gently and as lightly as possible hover over the key, until it is needed. But other wise, you are pretty good! Oh, and one more thing, practice a little more with your tempo. Sometimes you squeaked, or your note just faded out into nothing. Keep practicing!! :D

Very good, m'dear; but what will help is your hand posture. You're stretching your fingers far too much. Bring those elbows and wrists up and curve your fingers (like holding an orange) I played flute for 13 years (many of them with bad hand posture). The speed in your fingering will also improve with practice. As you advance, you'll be using f the smaller keys for the higher ranges, and to have that flexibility already conditioned is important. Great job! Keep up the practice! :)

You should try to vibrato on longer notes, and also try to hold the longer notes as well. Try to keep your fingers closer to the keys, that way in the future you won't have a hard time to work on technique. You have a beautiful tone! You are very lucky to have that tone. I would also add a little bit of dynamic contrast as well. Over all, it was really good!!!

You have a good sound, but i noticed that that you need to do one of two things, one: be more confident and hold out your notes longer, and two: hover your left pinkie over your Ab key otherwise you will get in a bad habit and won't have as much speed on certain songs that you need to play Ab frequently.

hi im rachael 13 yrs old on 7th grade here are a few tips on playing the flute hope they help

1. Try and keep your fingers closer to the keys so when u play faster music it helps and you dont have ti nove it so far especially where your pinkey is on ur left hand its way off

2. tilt your body the other way it will make it soo much eaiser like sitting a bit further back from the computer :3

3. when you make a mistake keep on going if u have to make it up
