  • I'm working on a mountain man beard too, but my wife keeps convincing me to trim it.

  • His beard IS tactical...no need for a trim.

  • Hi from everyone at VersaCarry. Thank you Jeff for keep your site interesting and informative all these years. I just wanted to take a moment to respond to some of the post made about The VersaCarry Concealment System. It is available in 380, 9mm, .40 and .45, but the release date on the .40 and .45 won't be until August. We make multiple sizes that allow the gun to ride deeper or higher depending on the users desired carry height. Please check our site to get the correct sizing.

  • Thank you for the advice Jeff.

  • I wish the versa carry would go deeper into the waistband, so just the grip would hang out...

  • Jeff, do you know where you could get a tactical beard trimmer?

  • Why would anyone want to trim their beard?

  • Jeff Quinn, I'm looking into buying a ruger sr 556/6.8 or the ruger sr 556/223 which one would you say is more accurate. If you could give some advice it would be really helpful thank you.

  • The 5.56mm is likely more accurate, and I think a better choice, especially for long range shooting.

    Jeff

  • @The101conservative If you really want the ruger I would go with the 5.56 but typically the 6.8 is going to be the more accurate cartridge. Ruger blew it in that they went with the older chambering instead of the new SPCII chambering. If you want a 6.8 I would look into ARP, Bison and Stag.

  • Those were all cool

  • Nice items. Thanks for the reviews.

  • I like the versacarry clip, but they don't have a secure checkout, so I didn't purchase one.

  • Jeff do you edit and shoot all of your own videos ? I watch every one, and per your advice I picked up a CW45 . Did you notice that it had a really tight chamber ?

  • Mr brother Boge does the video shooting and editing, along with all our web design work. He does a good job.

The CW45 we tested here didn't have as tight a chamber as the P45 - Buffalo Bore 230-grain factory ammo wouldn't chamber in the P45 without rapping the rear of the slide.

  • only gun i ever had trouble hand-cycling was a Les Baer

  • Congrats on 200 videos. Really liked this one.

  • What a great idea those versa carry, and the Glock loop. Innovative, simple.

  • (Slapping my forehead) Would never use that thing that attaches to the serrations at the rear (to assist with slide racking) but sure wish I'd thought of it.

  • cool gear, thanks for the video

  • EXCELLENT Jeff - thank you !!!

  • great video! neat stuff

  • GREAT VIDEO Jeff...very good advice and info!!! THANKS

  • Was that a Smith and Wesson 4006 I saw in that first holster??? I own one of those and carry it daily I trust it about as much as my Springfield XD45 Sub Compact 5" Tactical and that's my Winter CCW. What is your opinion on the 4006 anyways??

  • The 4006 is a good weapon, as were all of the 1000, 4000, and 4500 series Smiths. The one shown is a 4566.

    Jeff

  • Versacarry for the win in this video.

  • I appreciate your straight talk.

  • I really like that design though since most of the inside the waistband holsters ive found increase the girth of the piece when concealed. good idea

  • Like that last clip holster looking device

  • thanks for all the info. you keep up the good revews, and I will keep enjoying all of your videos.. thanks again..

  • That versacarry mexican holster unit is quite a dandy, would it work with various calibers like .22 up to .40?

  • @James57127 On their website it seems it's only available .380 and 9 at the moment, but at the same time jeff has got a 1911 on his.

  • @coalhu I either carry 22 or 40 so my porridge is either to hot or to cold i guess

  • @James57127 well it says they'll be comin out in a few months so not all hope is lost, i'll be gettin one for .45 when it comes out.

  • 380 and larger.

    jeff

  • it's just special to me to watch a left-handed person do reviews. I love bein left handed.

  • i love gun blast! 1st
