i have this phone after dropping it and shit it still worked the only thing i hate is the paint job cuz scratches apear on it easily. after 2 years the has not let me down but it broke yesturday the wirering in the screan got messed so the screan doesnt work. i have now upgraded to the LG RUMOUR. i recomend lg muziq to every one who is looking for a long term phone.
yeah ive had mine for a long time to its badass and the wiring on the phone thin g happened to me also im a VERY patient person and i still used the phone i have a pretty good memory of the phone so all i have to do is type the number and call it still works you cant see what your doing though i waited (more like just passed through) abot 3 months and the pone worked again normally and then it broke and replaced it with the same thing :P
@Wentziee ill put up a video, evin doe my camera is actin gay, but try dis, take your memory card out of your phone and put it in your computer and click on the computer icon on your desktop. then click on the memory card icon. now automaticaly your phone makes folders for music video pics ect. get olny mp3 files i meen OLNY MP3, if your songs are not mp3 then convert them to mp3. drag youe music to the music folder on the memory card. then put your memory card back in your phone, and your done

The one feature that makes me love my phone is the FM transmitter. I use it in my car a lot and also at parties or in my room. Now I have to decide between the lotus, highnote, and rant, none of which has the transmitter. They told me the FCC had a problem with it. I might just get another muziq...
The FM transmitter is for playing your music through radios, including car radios. Just find a blank station (it don't show up on your radio) and program that station into your phone. Start playing with FM transmitter on and it plays through the radio. Sorry if you already know since it was 2 months ago when you posted this comment.
i have had the musiq for over a year. its my favorite. what makes me mad is that this doesnt show that the musiq phone has a piano and a score thing. this phone is amazing. i messed up my first musiq in december by accident because i got ocean water on it. oops. but this phone is pretty much amazing!!!
Ok, So I have the Rumor, and for only 7 months, I'm sick of it. It doesnt hold a charge, turns off, freezes, and well it basically sucks. For txting, yeah its good. But, I dnt recommend it. Everyone I know that has a Rumor also say that it sucks.

you can lock your phone your pictures and voice. go to settings and then the very last option then go to ristrict and lock and then your 4 digits should be the last 4 digits in your number. to unlock its the same

you COULD, but dont look into this for an mp3 player. i've got one, its a pretty bad mp3 player. It doesnt have a 3.3 mm headphone jack, and it doesnt read any playlists from iTunes.... so i would reccomend gettin another iPod instead of this. Its really not that great.

Just "upgraded" from fusic to muziq. I like the FM transmitter but that is all this phone has going on. You have to use the sprint music player which is slow. You can't just browse to your memory card and click play on the song you want. Picture flash is useless. For a phone designed specificly for playing music they did a poor job at it. Software on my phone was crap to start had to take it in 1st day for a hard reset. I would advise to stay away. Good idea bad execution. Trading mine in.

I love this phone. It has an am/fm transmitter so I can play my music on any stereo wirelessly. I use a different menu and only press ONE button to access the music player. Opera Mini functions superbly on this particular phone. I login to myspace on by pressing 4 buttons which is awesome! With On Demand, the streaming media is high quality. The TeleNav is just like GPS. My ONLY complaint is battery life but that's all cell phones...some conspiracy I'm convinced...hehe.

I called Sprint.. and found out they screwed up and didn't give me the insurance I said "YES" to, when I ordered this thing.. So.. I've always had to open it since by pressing the crack together. You Can go menu then to tools and click on voice memo and you record the song u want from your computer or whateva but when u rocord it make sure its low b/c 4 better hearing quality then just put set as incoming calls,txt or whatever or u can go to contacts click edit ring tone go 2 voice memo and put differen ring tone each contact

Yeah i bought one, but I don't like the music application. The "shuffle" isn't even random. It keeps playing the songs in the same order! If you have a ton of songs like me, your songs will be hard to find. Also the FM music transmitter doesn't even produce a strong signal! So it's fuzzy occasionally whenever
The rumor is okay but its hard to get used to the screen not being centered when using the qwerty keyboard (unlike the voyagers and the enV). Also the rumor does not have sprint tv, java, or an fm transmitter.
This phone fucking sucks. The battery is TERRIBLE. I do like the FM tuner though. The media player is crappy. Don't waste your time with this. Get the Rumor.

well i sell cellphones n what sold me on the muziq is the 4gb of memory it holds.
and yeah i guess id perfer the fusic BUT id have had alot of them come back (mostly the refurb ones) with problems. they discountinued it and most the ones you can find now are all refurbs. but if you can get your hand on a new fusic then go for it!

My friend got the upstage and that flipping back and forth is aggrevating. And the theing stopped working all together the second day she had it. She took it back and got the Katana II. This all happened last week.
eh well its more sleek and sexy than the fusiq (or however you spell it) but i dont like how you have to go through ALL of the songs to get to one all the way at the bottom AND in random order you have to memorize the list for a quick find or take forever to look through all the songs. the best part is the design

You Can go menu then to tools and click on voice memo and you record the song u want from your computer or whateva but when u rocord it make sure its low b/c 4 better hearing quality then just put set as incoming calls,txt or whatever or u can go to contacts click edit ring tone go 2 voice memo and put differen ring tone each contact

I have this phone or did, until it met the washer :], anyway the t9 was really bad, like someone said, it always made up random words. Unlike the other sprint phones i had, this one was pretty good. I'm getting the rumor sometime soon.

Yeah i bought one, but I don't like the music application. The "shuffle" isn't even random. It keeps playing the songs in the same order! If you have a ton of songs like me, your songs will be hard to find. Also the FM music transmitter doesn't even produce a strong signal! So it's fuzzy occasionally whenever

The rumor is okay but its hard to get used to the screen not being centered when using the qwerty keyboard (unlike the voyagers and the enV). Also the rumor does not have sprint tv, java, or an fm transmitter.

This phone fucking sucks. The battery is TERRIBLE. I do like the FM tuner though. The media player is crappy. Don't waste your time with this. Get the Rumor.

Shut the hell up. honestly The battery is WONDERFUL it only dies if you text 24/7 the media player is awesome are you kidding?? it sounds so good and its so easy to use so don't even try to diss a $300 phone. i compared it to all the other phones on sprint and even compared to the blackberres this phone was the best

btw i have a muziq and it pretty much kicks ass, the only problem is the screen resolution is kinda grainy n sux.
overall the functionality of the phone kills it! and the only other problem i had is the back button is soo close and horribly positioned. but it's ok...

when you add art to an album like in itunes. it usually shows up on the muziq's interface unless maybe the picture is too big or a weird format.

i just got it and lets just say the screen resolution does suck, the fuziq's was ALOT better, the touch screen is mehhh i'd perfer a d-pad as well too sensitive.
and i'm having a really weird problem when i try to multitask with the music on it restarts!! wtf...
anyways i just got it so let's see how long it holds out. but overall it's AWESOME, considering those minor flaws

well i sell cellphones n what sold me on the muziq is the 4gb of memory it holds.
and yeah i guess id perfer the fusic BUT id have had alot of them come back (mostly the refurb ones) with problems. they discountinued it and most the ones you can find now are all refurbs. but if you can get your hand on a new fusic then go for it!

My friend got the upstage and that flipping back and forth is aggrevating. And the theing stopped working all together the second day she had it. She took it back and got the Katana II. This all happened last week.

eh well its more sleek and sexy than the fusiq (or however you spell it) but i dont like how you have to go through ALL of the songs to get to one all the way at the bottom AND in random order you have to memorize the list for a quick find or take forever to look through all the songs. the best part is the design
