  • Comment removed

  • @kyotokof oil

  • how do you know they are 100 year old eggs, it was never mentioned ?

  • @crazyknight2008 They aren't actually that old. They're buried in dirt for 6 months or something.

  • @Gopheur That egg was called duck eggs. In Chinese we bury the eggs in a large crock that's been layered and lined with garden soil, and then store in a cool dry place for 3-4 months. And putting ingredients include a blend of equal parts of ash from charcoal, pine wood, and fireplace, along with salt and strong black tea. And cut in wedges and serve with sweet pickled vegetables or a sauce of vinegar, soy sauce, rice wine, and minced ginger. Yum!!! It totally delicious!!!

  • You guys make me laugh so hard! XD Wonderful reaction vid! XD

  • It was a stupid method to taste the egg. I remember some ppl ate this egg with the limestone. haha

  • ....Did you get paid to do this? If you do, I'd eat it lol

  • that just looks disgusting

  • thousand year eggs are delicious....

  • P.S

This egg is cooked with limestone. It takes a day or 2 to cook it fuck face.

  • @EndlesslyEchoes Hey lighten up asshole. Atleast they're brave enough to eat it and post their funny reactions on youtube. I bet you wouldn't even eat it because your a wimp. So why dont you get a life? And why did you even click this? So you could leave an asshole comment like a douche?

  • @EndlesslyEchoes God, calm down if your just going to yell at him, don't comment

  • @EndlesslyEchoes Holy shit man, you are way too hype. We knew that they aren't actually 100 years old. A 100yr old egg isn't even possible. We didn't name the fucking things. They aren't called Day or Two Limestone eggs.

We can't be sellouts. We have nothing of value, asshole.

Remember Endlessly Echoes. It's better to keep your mouth closed and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt. Fuckwit.

  • @EdHaigh He's Canadian.

  • @Gopheur Who, that Endlessly Echoes Clown? I suspected. Those damn, dirty, Canucks. They're always being rude and unfriendly. It think it's the syrup.

  • Ur a typical fucking white kid. Fucking sell outs.

Get a life, you're not funny.

  • @EndlesslyEchoes Atleast Mike had the guts to try that 1,000 Year Old Egg. You would've whimped out loser.

  • Fuck that is funny!!

  • Not precisely a 100-year old egg, but nonetheless pretty gross.

  • lmao stupid and funny :P

  • "Century" eggs is just a name, lol. They are definitely not 100 years old.

  • These are delicious dude. You just like wasted them.

  • stoners hun..lol that was funny though

  • LOL

    Weirdos xD

  • your suppose to eat it with soysauce and congee

  • LOL YOU ROCK

  • haha awesome. Judging by the hazey look of the ceiling i'm guessing these boyz are stoned. AWESOME!!!

  • Wholy shit! That's so frickin funny! I laughed so hard

  • Holy crap I laughed through out the whole video haha

  • "It's just a protein!" AHAHAHAHAHA!

  • You should try beondegi, korean stewed and seasoned silkworm pupae. They smell really delicious and taste good (if you don't remind yourself that they are insects)

  • love century eggs~~ Would try it with teochew porridge or even hongkong century egg with lean meat porridge. The taste will be quite overwhelming if you try to eat it on its own

  • Where did you find an egg that old ?

  • @ACMilan868 they are usually made in 100 days, they just look old.

  • I actually Love Durian, but, I can't have it home very often since my boyfriend hates it. and you're right those eggs do not taste good.

  • wooooaaaa!! did you feell... stomachake???? or something strange out of the way

  • 100 year old eggs are great with rice and soy sauce. It might not taste very good to your western taste buds, but to Asians it is yummy.

  • That is soo cool but very gross lol.

  • is that edebal?

  • yaebal

  • ahahahahaa grosss!

  • Shaved head guy's laugh is EPIC!

Classic expression as the egg opens. You are pretty brave. I vomit at the texture of onions.

  • Yay for food poisoning!!!! Woot Woot!!

  • my mum once told me after i told her the guy from 'fear factor' introduced the century egg..he said "it has been fermented for 100 yrs!!"...my mum's respond was "100 days is more than enuff"...

  • Its actually called a century egg, but its been marinated for 100 days or less actually. And you got to eat it with plain porridge, not eat the whole egg like that... :P

  • im gona try some

  • I love it, these eggs owns man :D

  • i've had 100 year old eggs before, it wasn't all that bad... but my sister and brother got food poisoning, and had to get their gut pumped... gross

  • Haha, white people are so gullible.

  • what are they eating?

  • Duck eggs that are covered in clay, salt, lime and rice straws with the shell on for a few weeks to produce a gelatin like egg white and a creamy egg yolk.

If it really takes 100 years to make, they'd cost A LOT more money. LOL.

  • stupid!

  • Cool.

  • black jelly egg

  • it's f*cking duck egg it's good with congee

    the yolk is green

  • the white(black) is aparently flavourless

  • They aren't actually a hundred years old..

  • yup, they are coated in acid clay and such and then left to set for about a week or two.

  • Yeh.

  • I've eaten aged duck egg(100 year old). It looks like grape jelly and tastes like salt.... YUCK

  • typical white people....lol

  • Comment removed

  • i eat them w/ porridge, i like it but you guys ate them right on so i wouldnt know.

  • those are good, your weird

  • No, they're not. I'm not weird. Your grammar sucks.

  • @Gopheur i thought u said gramma

  • O.o ...

  • looool

  • Also, you shouldn't be eating these eggs as a whole. You should be cutting it into pieces and spreading it out on other dishes. Eating it whole is like eating salt.

  • Durian, Century Eggs, these are typically normal foodstuffs. Yet programmes like Fear Factor seem to exaggerate and therefore enforce the long-believed stereotype of "strange" asian food.

    It tastes bad because

    1) You didn't prepare it properly

    2) Your mind tells you its disgusting, it tells you how it was prepared in the most disgusting manner, and therefore when you eat it you expect it to be bad. And then it really becomes what you think it is.

  • Nah, I don't think so. Even if I thought it looked great and thought it was prepared in an awesome way, I still wouldn't like it. Also, I hadn't heard of durian before then, and that isn't prepared in any kind of way. If you don't grow up eating this stuff, it tastes terrible. I'm sure I could get used to it, just like anything else. I'd just rather not.

  • If you eat it with this food called congee, it won't taste that bad..i've never eaten it raw. You gave me a good laugh =P

  • @TerrawindX2

Nope, that shit is gross. I've known quite a few Thai and Lao friends that wouldn't touch the stuff, either and they grew up around the things. The yolks in those eggs smells foul too - like sulphur and ammonia.

  • @TerrawindX2 these are eaten like this, i just seen the people eating them straight like this on tv. they dont have to be prepared

  • Wow..you know what the egg you ate was the good quality one...cos the yolk was liquidized that we chinese like it so much. You should have ate it with ginger. I don't know why many non-chinese people say it taste like shit.

  • you forgot to eat those with pickled ginger....

  • haha, you guys are funny. But I think it's called a 1,000 year old egg. I'm Chinese, and I eat those all the time. I think the yolk is the best part.

the key in eating those is NOT to smell it first... hahaha

did you also know this was a food on fear-factor?

  • =.= its a century egg. its preserved buried with hay and salt underground for only 5 weeks

  • Yeah, I know. If I thought it was actually 100 years old, I definitely wouldn't have eaten it.

  • They taste like boiled eggs. I have often given them to blindfolded friends who say boiled egg. Then when they see them refuse to eat them. It's all social-psychological conditioning. I love them, with chilli sauce!

  • You're wearing a Dream Theater shirt! Awesome!

  • hei I watch ur durian video :D is it taste so bad? for me just nice

  • your laugh is gay and thats not 100 years old........(gay idiots!)

  • Hey, listen asshole, I know they aren't 100 years old. I don't mind when people call me a "gay idiot", but not when they are complete dorks, like yourself. I checked your account out, and I suggest you delete it. No one cares about your stupid roller coasters and you suck at finger-boarding.

  • i watch your other videos and your not gay

  • That's better. You can call me whatever you want, but expect retaliation. Good day to you.

  • ^pwn

  • and rct3 is amazing!!

  • never mind its not
