One of the best sasquatch documentaries ever filmed. Nimoy is a fantastic narrator. In Search Of,Sasquatch: Legend of bigfoot(not the IVan Marx film),Bigfoot Man or Beast,The Mysterious Monsters...these are the "Must see" for any sasquatch researcher/enthusiast. These are the films that I watched as a kid growing up in the 60's/70's and as a young adult in the 90's. Good stuff.

i love these :) theyre creepy as hell cause ive been terrified of bigfoot since I was in 2nd grade. I dont really beleive in it but if it was real than that would be way scary. but if it isnt than things like this will continue to come out and we will always wonder about it.

There is also a possibility that the big foot species is human. And that is possible because quite some time ago a family of ancient people had a disorder that caused excesive growth of hair all over their bodies, (the disease still existd) maybe the big foot species is just humans that hide from main society because of their disorder, and im sure that if this was so their numbers would surely grow, because of the instinct to survive. They would have inbred with eachother over and over. lol.

I think it is a secret society of ancient beings that exiled itself from other societies in order to preserve its own society. Because it is quite obvious these creatures(if they are real) are very skilled in staying un seen. And its very possible that they did flee from main society in order to preserve their values and religion. Many groups have done such, like wiccans.

Y cant the BF exist? many creatures either lost or new to science have been and are currently being discovered all the time. The terrain where its supposed to live is quite large and varied. If it was discovered it would be one of the greatest discoveries ever made. Jokingly one would say its camping with elvis and mj but in reality i think its very possible such a beast exists

Personally I think he's the missing link, and not a neanderthal ...cause neanderthals evolved over time, and turned into us...they've sampled bigfoot hair, and they don't know what animal it is, and it's DNA doesn't match anything, including human! So sorry, it's impossible for it to be a neanderthal. And the fact that you are just sure of it, is quite funny. Maybe next time you won't be so sure of yourself...huh?

Neanderthals evolved into us...their DNA I'm sure has been sampled...as well as Bigfoots. Neither DNA strand matches...they don't know what bigfoot is, and they know that it has yet to be discovered and acknowledged by mainstream science.

No, Neanderthals didn't evolve into us. They were a separate branch of homonid, possibly evolving from the same genus. They became extinct, and our species survived. Who knows why? There are several plausible theories.

The bigfoot legend is interesting, but as with ghosts, there's little, if any real, solid evidence for the existence of such a creature.

I dated a native girl in the pacific northwest, I mean northern BC, not Oregon or Washington, she told me about a time when they were collecting oolicans (a type of mollusk they harvested during low tide.) The group was on the beach when she said they were set upon by the foulest smell you could imagine. Apparently these things stink to high heaven. The group was in a stir but not panicked, the elders knew what it was. They looked about and someone finally spotted it above them on a cliff.

well thanks - it's not much of a story really and I imagine it is common sounding enough to almost sound like "urban legend" but that's what she told me. I think we all know what these things are, humans are very much the visual animal, we see a bird, identified by it's wings, feathers, bill whatever, so it is a bird to us. If we spot one of these things, horrified though we may be, we know what it is. I think the memory of them is encoded in our genes, molecular memory so to speak.

People need to understand and do there research before saying anything on the subject more so when speaking to researchers who have spend countless weeks, months and years of there lives on the subject, at least ask questions but making statements like all sightings of bigfoot are hoax's or people seeing bears, its actually its more unlikely that it could have been hoaxed then for it to be real by a long shot, in fact if a hoax of this level would likely require a time machine so not very likely

Don't know, but since there are alot of skeptics and we can't prove what happened in the year 985, we need to prove once and for all whether it's a hoax or not.

I'm not arguing with your statement, I'm in agreement with it, but we can't conclusively prove anything that happened that far back to the skeptics.
